Aussie upload was late this week (there was a 3-day weekend down under), but it finally dropped Tuesday night, though it was small. Most of what’s new in this post seems to be run-focused, and since tonight’s North American upload was a yoga theme, perhaps we can expect to see a lot of this during the next run drop.
Lulu is definitely staying steady on the cool racerbacks so far this summer. Here are three MORE in bleacher stripe white iris flower, crosscourt petal clarity yellow, and floral sport. That makes 6 CRBs the US is waiting on and 4 for Canada. (P.S. Who else sees the face on bleacher stripe?)
These inspire tights actually dropped in Canada stores Monday. The name is space dye twist iris flower pink shell. This is actually the exact same color/pattern as the wanderlust edition shala bra. It reminds me a lot of textured wave. I think I like it though maybe not enough to buy.
Twist iris flower what the sport shorts, too.
Texture twist scuba hoodie from Australia.
The breezy singlet (in floral sport) is a lot like the breezy tank from the winter, except this has a ladder-style back, likely in response to feedback that the breezy tank straps slipped off the shoulders. Also, this is made of swift ultra light, not cotton like the winter design.
I’m surprised this go om tank wasn’t uploaded with the other burnout yoga items in North America today. I suppose it wasn’t ready at the warehouse yet.
Define jackets in floral sport and net pop.
New tuck in long sleeve. The fabric isn’t specified. The side slits make it easy to tuck in the front or the back, and there’s a gentle scoop at the back neckline.
These breezy crops are an interesting new addition to the run crop line. Higher rise with back circle mesh and side reflective stripes.
Rolldown wunder under pants with the same mesh detailing as a pair from a couple weeks back. These are naval blue.
New split second shorts, featuring a higher rise than most other shorts, but a short 2″ inseam. They also come in the black/purple version of floral sport.
More shorts! These super squad shorts were first spotted last week, and this week were added in floral sport (shown) and confetti cake. These look a lot like Nike tempo shorts to me, although with a slightly better fit. The what the sport shorts also remind me of Nike’s popular compression shorts (the waistband design is even similar), so I feel like this is turning into a trend of lulu trying to poach Nike’s customers with similar styles to diehard Nike girl favorites.
Solid iris flower and floral backdrop pleat to street skirts. Pretty.

I saw those inspire tights – wow, LOTS of purple. I thought the same thing about the squad shorts, that they looked a lot like Nike shorts to me. But they took it a step further and added in a hidden zip pocket, which is very nice. I know the Nike ones have a tiny interior pocket. I once had a few pairs of those ugly tempo shorts, before I discovered lulu, but have now given them all away to friends. Thank goodness.

Yeah, I’m guessing they added the pockets on the super squads (and what the sports) as a way to sort of one up Nike. That way, it’s not just a lookalike (ish), it’s actually better/more functional. Not the worst idea, I suppose.

Anyone else notice the “duck bill” on the squad shorts? Lol! First thing I noticed.
I like that singlet as i’ve been crying over the demise of the scalloped 105’s and everything else is so tight that it shows all my lumps and bumps or is too hot to run in. But I can’t imagine what that will add to my already weird “runner” tan lines. Lol! I’m sure i’d get a lot of “why do you have a ladder tan line on your back” type of questions.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Haha yes to the duck bill! I agree the breezy singlet could be promising, funny tan lines notwithstanding. I liked the way the breezy tank fit me, and I assume this will be similar.

I want that floral pleat to street skirt! The floral patterns look like they would transition from summer to fall very nicely. I would really like to see a City Skirt in one of the floral prints too. Those skirts are seriously comfortable and feel much less sloppy/thrown together than sweats.

I agree, the somewhat deeper colors would look nice for just about any season. :)

Even though it’s not that jazzy, I really like the Tuck In LS!
Someone posted those inspires on IG last week and I’ve been drooling over a pair ever since. My only fear is jumping on them too quick and then something unpredictably amazing like the High Times or Roll-Down WUs to come out in Twist Iris instead! Still tapping my foot waiting for that pistachio CRB to make its way stateside… I’m no goot at being patient!!!
Lulu & the Box says
PS… totally saw the face on the CRB up top! Weirdness.
cadet_blue says
I want that CRB too! Thankfully things don’t sell out as quickly in the US anymore so I don’t have to stress about it. lol
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Well, the heathered lullaby did disappear pretty quick on the US side. It seems like the number of CRBs they’re stocking is just REALLY inconsistent.
cadet_blue says
True. But for the most part, things don’t instantly disappear anymore on the US side. Not compared to a year ago.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Oh yeah, definitely.

I actually kinda dig the tuck in long sleeve too. I’m sure the price will be more than I want to pay, though.

The face looks like Oogie boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas, lol. I went today and got the heathered denim blue WUC’s, saw the bleacher stripe print, and there’s odd shadows on it, like when something goes awry in the wash and gets a dingy water spot. Butttt the denim WUC’s are heavenly!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yay for the WUCs!!! :) I’m going to a store on Saturday, so I’ll have to look for the bleacher stripe shadows you mention. In the online pics at least, the lines look pretty clean.
