New Overseas: Reflective Speeds + Purple Fog CRB

October 7, 2014 / 10 Comments

[NOTE: So far only the Asia Pacific side has been updated, this post will be updated when new stuff hits the European side.]

Post updated to include European additions!!  Keep scrolling.

New reflective speed shorts: the entire front panel and the upper back is reflective silver.  Nifty, although the aesthetic here is slightly reminiscent of other brands (e.g., Nike) to me.

Unfortunately, on the HK side these are even more expensive than the petal camos, which were $68 already in North America.  For comparison, regular speeds are 580HKD, petal camos were 720HKD, and these are a whopping 820HKD.  This does not bode well, my friends.  I’m predicting $76.

New purple fog cool racerback.  Now if we can just get some of the other new colors in a CRB…

New vitasea ravi tee.  I like the half sleeves and the scoop neck.  The oversized pocket up by the armpit, though…I’m not so sure.

The gym to win duffel in a new color: petal camo embossed fuel green.

New in Europe:

THREE new race your pace 1/2 zips: black/coco pique, fuel green/toothpaste hyperstripe, and heathered black grape.

Swiftly 1/2 zips made a return in jeweled magenta and toothpaste.

New race your pace long sleeve in heathered fuel green with–yes, kids–fuel green coco pique.  COLORED COCO PIQUE?  OMG, if there’s some kind of coco pique situation in black grape or maybe berry yum (wunder under pants?!), I might pass out.

Black grape speed tights–these are brushed.  Love black grape.  Like the other speed tights we’ve been seeing lately, these are the “speed tight II”, and they have less seaming details down the side compared with last year’s, plus no ruching at the ankles.

Another week of NO flaming tomato!! Why? Why? Why? All these drab, boring colors.

I don’t know if this is old news or not, but I saw one lone flaming tomato forme with stripes on it at my store recently (like last week?).

I really love both black swan/grape and speed tights, so those are pretty tempting! I really love my brushed pair, too. Hmm…

That particular forme was uploaded a couple weeks ago but I never saw any store pics of it.

Hey, black swan isn’t drab to me. ;) But yeah, there really should be more FT by now. :

I’m dying for that Gym to Win bag. The Race your pace half zip in coco pique/black is also really tempting, although I hate the way it looks zipped up fully. Will have to make the call based on other pictures. I really miss the ruffles on the Speed Tights. I think it made them extra special. The black grape color is beautiful and I love that they are brushed…but the ruffles. Why take away our ruffles :(

Ruffles? Where were the ruffles? My pair from last year had ruching at the ankles, but I don’t remember any with ruffles?

I think she’s just thinking of the ruching.

I agree that that’s what made them quintessential lulu. Without those details, there’s not a lot left to distinguish them from other brands of running tights. :

Oh! The fuel green coco piqué race your pace is calling to me! Black Swan Speed Tights are also pretty, but I don’t need them. Feeling a little Lulu’d out, but will I regret not getting that purple fog CRB? Ah, it’s hard being a lulu addict.

I doubt the purple fog will sell out particularly fast, so you’ll probably have time to think about it. Also, there’s no guarantee it’ll be on the US side tonight anyway, so that may be another reason you’ll get to put off the decision. :)
