Lulu Upload: &go + Moooore Rulu + Dramatic Static

September 29, 2015 / 18 Comments

Lululemon sapphire blue &go where to dress

This week on lulu’s upload, a new &go capsule dropped.  These capsules are designed to be transitional pieces, or straight-up casual pieces with a bit of lulu’s functional flair like this &go where to dress.  Rulu fabric is always a plus, and the subtle reflectivity is nice for those traipsing around town after dark.  There’s also a new &go where to skirt with the same details.

(Also, no technical difficulties with upload tonight!)

Lululemon &go city jogger painted animal bordeaux drama

Another piece from the new capsule, the &go city jogger, comes in another variation of the new painted animal print–painted animal bordeaux drama.

Lululemon bordeaux drama healthy heart pullover

Back to rulu for a sec: the healthy heart pullover is back, shown here in bordeaux drama.  The other 3 colors (black, white, and coco pique) have all been released before.

Lululemon dramatic static define jacket

Canada got loooots of dramatic static this week, including this define jacket.  I’m guessing this will be a major pattern for October.

Lululemon dramatic static wunder under crop hi-rise

Lululemon dramatic static pace rival crops

More dramatic static: hi-rise wunder under crops and pace rival crops.  Both of these are also in Canada only right now.

Lululemon space dye twist ultra violet speed tights

The space dye twist ultra violet run bottoms showed up in the US, including these speed tights plus pace rival crops.  All these space dye twist bottoms are nice, but as others have mentioned, it’s a shame that the stripes don’t line up on most pairs.

Lululemon cherry cheetah barre none tank

New barre none tank with a built-in bra and straight straps, designed for barre of course.

Lululemon exquisite crop forage teal

So basically I love this new forage teal.  These are the exquisite crops, this color is in the US only currently (Canada got–you guessed it–dramatic static).

Lululemon forage teal all sport support tank

More forage teal on the all sport support tank. (Canada only.)

Lululemon high times pants wrap mesh bordeaux drama

Lastly, these wrap mesh high times pants are really growing on me–they uploaded tonight in bordeaux and deep navy.  I like the more subtle mesh details versus the full-on tech mesh.  Still not a big fan of high rises, though, so I’m resisting for now!

I saw that &Go dress in person and it is so soft and pretty. Why did Lulu show this dress with sneakers? looks horrible. I got both the blue and black dresses in a NYC shop. They are very cute with sandals and heels.

I’m a size 2 and bought sz 2. It’s tight but not uncomfortably tight. I have broad shoulders and could have gone with a size 4 but then the body part of dress is loose. Hope this helps. It’s such a yummy fabric

I hope it fits you also. Let me know how it goes. I’m curious about the fit for other ladies.

Yeah I agree, sneakers wouldn’t be my first pick for the photos.

you have insane style. Perhaps Lulu would be smart to hire you to style their website shoots. BUT that would make too much sense!

I hope you mean “insane” style as a compliment, heh. Sometimes I feel like my style is literally insane. :) It would definitely be a dream of mine to work with an activewear brand as a model/stylist/something like that!

I received my Bordeaux alarming space dye twist wup yesterday and was so happy to see the stripes lined up perfectly, and the material is so nice! There is hope for those of you interested. Can’t wait for October, the colors look so promising!

I have the same pants and totally agree. The material and pattern is gorgeous in person and the stripes line up on mine too.

Oh that’s good! I haven’t wanted any of the twist bottoms badly enough to pull the trigger, but it might be worth a try if one comes up that I like.

Yes finally! :) I think it was you who commented last week that you really wanted those pace rivals, so I was glad when I saw them pop up! If forage teal comes on a CRB it will be mine for sure.

I’m loving not only forage teal but the exquisite crops in that color. If I didn’t already have a pair of Beyond Yoga crops in a similar shade, it would be hard to resist. And I feel the same about the wrap mesh high times, but I already have speed tights in bordeaux drama so don’t need another legging. I’m being so good!

Welcome back!! <3 But yeah that's true, the BY color is really similar. Plus, it was probably much cheaper. You're being good indeed. :)

I’m glad they flipped the direction of the mesh on the calves for the wrap mesh high times! They used to go the other way, so that your legs look butterflied… really unflattering as it made your calves look super big. This new redesign has the mesh going the same way as the thighs’ mesh, which has a much more continuous, spiralling look. They must have gotten bad customer feedback on the first batch, because they changed gears really quickly! (unless the first batch were a fluke??)

Also @AgentAthletica:disqus I’m in Sydney right now and not only is lulu way cheaper than it is in Hong Kong, with the AUD so weak, it’s probably also cheaper than the USA! Was just at the lulu in the CBD today and saw the Bon Bon stuff your runs. Let me know if you want me to get you a pair! ;-D

Aw thanks Crystal, that’s so kind of you to offer! I think I’m going to try to hold out and see if it at least makes it to Canada–the AUD-USD exchange rate is ok, but probably not enough to warrant the trouble. Also, super jealous you’re in Aus. :)
