Instagram user @aschlingg totally spilled the beans on what’s coming with this photo tagged #geartesting. Lulu always does a black and white palette for the holiday season (e.g., brisk bloom and parallel stripes last year), so I’m betting these 3 patterns are what we’re going to be seeing for the winter. There’s grey camo (looks like lotus camo) because, in the totally on-point words of a chatter, lulu is going to beat the camo horse to death. The top left crops looks like a fractal pattern and the bottom right looks like some kind of sparkly-meets-grunge print.
I’m as yet undecided on how I feel about these. I’m not losing my mind over it, but I think they have potential–will have to see more pics.
Another new color showed up in another swiftly today! The color code is HMNJ. The ed I spoke with said it’s not a true pink and has hints of orange, kind of like a flamingo pink. (I wonder how it compares to flash?) It’s almost November, so this and CDBG must be part of the new November palette! [Lululemon Natick Collection]

Personally, I like that grey camo and the sparkly-meets-grunge print… and crops. I’m curious what those will be like!
I bought two pairs of base runners last year, so I don’t need anymore, but I do adore them!

It’s also tough to say whether the IG-er was using a filter, so who knows how accurate those photos are. I squinted hard to try to see a little more detail on the grunge print in particular, but all I could glean from it was “something vaguely sparkly”.

Is it bad that I get happy when I see new products I don’t like & sad when I see something I absolutely must have? Even if it’s bad, I’m happy if these are the holiday products because they don’t tempt me at all.
AgentAthletica says
I don’t think it’s bad. I am in the exact same boat right now–I breathe a sigh of relief every time upload is boring.

bummed… tried on herringbone base runner pants and the pockets pooch out terribly, in usual size and size up. :(
you can kind of see that in the 5 & 7th pictures.
AgentAthletica says
Bummer! I read they don’t look good on short people either. Too bad, because they look so comfy.

I’m 64 in. the length isn’t terrible but the way the lower leg is designed it bunches weirdly. love the herringbone though. hope it comes in more styles than this and WUP.
the pockets, not the length, make them a no-purchase though.
AgentAthletica says
Fair enough! I’m also hoping for more herringbone–love it so much.
