I was hoping they’d bring back the Play All Day shorts and not the Spring Breakaways. The fit on those isn’t good – the pleats make them balloon out funny. So sad.

Yeah, those shorts are painfully unflattering. Very early-mid 90s.

I just remember them being tight on the thighs and then the pleats made them horrendous looking :P They looked good on very few people and I remember them going on MD and sitting there for awhile even in the stores too. Why do they repeat the stuff that doesn’t sell but refuse to repeat the stuff we want to buy. *sigh*

I feel like the only way these shorts could work is if your legs are very slender and long. On anyone else, those pleats and rolled cuff are gonna look dumpy.

^This.

True, those would’ve been cuter. These do seem to poof out in unflattering ways.

Did you see that 105F singlet with those EC WUCS? Does it mean the old version is coming back? Here’s to hoping…

That’s the gray that was in the stores not too long ago. It’s not new so no hopes for them bringing back the scalloped styling. That was probably hers that she was wearing.

My store here in NYC had almost NO 105F singlets of any kind yesterday and they did not comment on its absence. :-/

Yeah, I agree with the other commenters that it’s probably old stock or the educator’s own. :

So sad! I really would have loved me some pretty scalloped edge 105F s for the summer! :/

This blog is great. I’ve been following for a while and this is my first time posting. I have a couple off-topic questions:
I am about to weed out my speed short drawer. I would like to find more that fit like the savasana fatigue pair, which were looser and longer on me. Any recommendations…?
Also, has anyone heard about the brand Inner Fire? It’s yoga clothing that is made in Vancouver. I saw a pair of pants IRL and have been curious about them since.

Thanks! :) So, speed shorts fit has been a little wonky for a while, and each pair can vary a lot. This means that within a specific color, the fit isn’t all that predictable. Some you might have good luck with that tended to fit longer and looser were some of the pairs from last summer: bruised berry, blue tropics (the solid version not the current heathered one), inky floral, and maybe cadet blue.
I haven’t tried Inner Fire, but there’s a facebook group that discusses other brands of leggings you could try. There’s a couple threads on the brand there or you could ask your own q’s: https://www.facebook.com/groups/240311009511496/

Since the EC WUPs are super sheer, should we pretty much assume the WUCs will be, as well? I need to know if I should bother ordering them tonight or not…

I’m guessing it’s the same fabric, yeah. :(
