What I Wore: Back to the (CrossFit) Grind

After all the traveling hoopla the past 2 weeks, I was finally back home for the whole week.  Had to take it a little easy with my workouts this week.  Having been at sea level for nearly 2 weeks, coming back to the very high altitude where I live (even higher than Denver!) can be a little rough.  Thankfully, it wasn’t as bad as I anticipated!  No PRs were made though. ;)

When I first grabbed this color combo, I thought it would be too obnoxious.  But when I put it on, I loved it!  It’s so bright and fun.  The white bra underneath keeps it light, and matches the white in the shorts waistband. :)

Can we talk about how amazing the matching is in this pairing??  I bought the nova tights last year, but just got this YS tank last week.  Perfect match!  I was unreasonably excited about the coincidence.  Also: review of this tank (and one other YS tank) is in the works!  Spoiler alert: love it.

I like to keep it simple with my fossil split pea speeds, so I usually go with black.  I have a yellow tank on my “things to acquire” list to look nice with the trim.  I love contrasting trim, but sometimes it can make matching complicated!

I just got my fatigue camo speeds in the mail this week.  I passed on them the first time around, but they grew on me between the last release and this one, so I caved.  So far, I’m glad I did!  I love them with brights like this.
