I have the same issue with the legs on the what the sport shorts with any lulu spandex shorts. The legs are too tight and look like stuffed sausages. I’ve never been able to wear their boogie shorts…don’t even try anymore. I just got a pair of Fabletics spandex shorts (the dill I think…), and they fit perfectly. It’s a bright purple that looks like ultra violet and completely opaque. Slowly losing some faith in Lulu…

Haha yes I figured it was a mis-fired comment. :) I tried on a pair of LJ tight shorts that I loved, but couldn’t justify the expense sadly. They seemed a little longer than boogies but I’m not sure whether that’s just because I wasn’t moving around. :P Lulu still does some of their basics decently well (have yet to find a remotely viable substitute for speeds), but most everything else misses the mark lately. Definitely not as much “need to have” urges floating around.

I do really love their Speeds too. Their lining is so much better than any other brand. I just hate the inconsistency lately. all my local stores have really low stock of speeds (or they might be already bought by eds)…and I don’t feel like tying up $110 or so just to try on two sizes. I loved their CRBs and Forme Jackets because I coukd purchase them in my size, regardless of fabric, and fit the same each time.

I also really like my Oiselle shorts …they were a good substitute for the speeds. You might like the Mac Roga (I think that’s the shorter versions name).

I’ve heard mac rogas are too short for things other than running–the liner peeks out in a squat/bend, which is bad news for me. I am curious to try Graced by Grit’s shorts, their contrast trim is cute and the style is somewhat similar to speeds: http://gracedbygrit.com/apparel/bottoms/shorts/kick-your-butt-short.html That said, I’m skeptical the sizing will work out for me. They also have a CRB lookalike in lots of nice colors.
