Upload 7/14: &Go + Cyber Stripe High Times + New Speeds in Alarming and Flash Light

July 14, 2015 / 20 Comments

Upload tonight was surprisingly eventful.  Every time I thought I had spotted everything, I kept seeing more.  There are so many prints and colors floating around right now, it’s hard to pick out a unifying theme.

Lululemon gingham black white picnic play dress

Tonight’s upload theme was the latest &go collection, which highlighted some awfully questionable pieces, including the city skort and sweaty or not long shorts.  The picnic play dress is pretty much the only redeeming piece of this line, which appeared up in a couple colors besides the black that was previewed on what we love last week.  The gingham dress takes the name pretty literally–kinda looks like a picnic blanket turned into a dress.  There’s also a heathered slate dress in the US.

Lululemon bali breeze cool racerback 2015

Ordered me a bali breeze CRB tonight.  Hoping the fabric will be nice!  Canada got alarming this week in addition to bali.

Lululemon alarming speed shorts

New speed shorts in solid alarming for Canada.  I’m pretty sure these are the first red speeds since love red from summer ’13, but they *still* aren’t quite a true red.  Also, these don’t look like a great fit on the model, the legs look like they’re flaring.

Lululemon flash light dashing purple speed shorts

Speed shorts for US: flash light/dashing purple.  These are so pretty.  There was a pair of flash light/yachtie stripe waistband speeds not all that long ago so I’m a little surprised to see these, but not complaining.  I’m not going to be getting these, though, since I already have flash jacquard which is just too similar.  Fortunately, size 2s didn’t get the shaft on any speeds this week.

Lululemon ace spot tranquil blue speed shorts

US also got the new tranquil blue ace spot speed shorts, block-it pocket edition.  This seems a bit silly considering they’re SO similar to the ace spot lullaby speeds that are already out.Lululemon all sport crop back spin stroke dashing purpleAll sport crops, a design that originally showed up in Aus weeks ago, snuck onto the US side today in 3 colors, including the back spin stroke dashing purple pictured here.

Lululemon floral sport tranquil blue run stuff your bra

Canada got THREE new stuff your bras, including the floral sport tranquil blue shown here, plus a neutral WAFS black and the enviable peacock blue.

Lululemon floral sport tranquil blue pack it vest

New pack-it vest in Canada in floral sport tranquil blue, a similar idea as the back pack-it jacket, which also uploaded.

Lululemon tranquil blue all good pullover

This new all good pullover (tranquil blue here) from the US might’ve been nice, except the 90s-era scrunch elastic totally kills it for me.

Lululemon jeweled magenta dottie dash wild tank

New jeweled magenta/dottie dash wild tank.  This is cute and fun.

Lululemon cyber stripe silver fox high times pants no zip

Both US and Canada got the non-zipper edition cyber stripe silver fox high times pants.  This is good news for Canada since they still haven’t gotten the zipper version.

Lululemon bali breeze in flux jacket

Nice bali breeze in flux jacket from Canada.

Lululemon alarming pedal to the medal singlet

Canada got one rogue item from the new pedal to the medal capsule (currently in Aus).  This singlet is designed with race days in mind because of the bib-friendly paneling.  That said, the panel in the bib area still looks like delicate silverescent.

Other upload notes

– Happy to see the US got the shady palms and floral backdrop gym to win duffels.  I like both, but am resisting.

– Speaking of bags, both US and Canada got a scratch match angel wing run all day backpack.

– US got the grapefruit pleat to street and stony grape stripe vinyasa.

– Heathered naval blue wunder under crops in Canada, and a pants version too.

– These black WAFS inspire tights in Canada are a beautiful non-black neutral.

– Canada also got those luxtreme rolldown wunder under pants with all the fancy mesh down the sides, but the ones they got are naval blue instead of black.

– I still think the peacock blue space dye swiftly LS is awfully pretty.  Canada has the SS too.

– A bit confused by the bring-back of the roll out tank on the Canada side, which is now up in 4 new colors.  I didn’t think it was all that popular the first time around (Jan ’14), and the boob area looks weird in all the pics if you ask me.

– The bali breeze FTBW is now in Canada.

– Canada also got a new energy bra in alarming, but the grapefruit contrast straps are a bit of a weird choice.

I saw the alarming speeds this morning and they were ORANGE, not red… Deep disappointment :-(

Can’t say I’m shocked. Lulu can’t seem to make anything near a true red to save their life. :(

If and when those Stuff Your Bras come to the US, I’m in trouble. That peacock/tranquil blue one is TDF. Also I’m surprised how much I’m liking the floral sport tranquil blue print. I ended up ordering the All Sport crop in that print which I hadn’t planned on at all. I immediately bought the peacock LS Swiftly and bali breeze CRB. I am awful at predicting which items will sell out and which will stick around online, so I figured I ought to buy now and decide to keep later.

Seriously. The WAFS is kind of tempting too! Ack. And sellouts are pretty unpredictable these days so that’s not a bad strategy, especially if you can return for free to a store. :)

Got the picnic play dress. I think it’s a bit long and I’m going to have it hemmed. Another great piece I can dress up for work!

Yes, it’ll definitely be useful for that! :) The dress selection this year has been surprisingly good.

I was late for the upload, did i miss the gorgeous silver spoon WAFS wunder under crops with the mesh details? My hubbs liked them so much that he asked when they will arrive :)

I ordered the bali breeze CRB, too! Debating the peacock LS swiftly but hate paying full price for those so will try to resist. OT, I returned the classic stripe/flash RSYB because I convinced myself it wasn’t super versatile underneath my assortment of tanks (the print showed through everything other than black) so didn’t *need* it…kind of regretting it now. Maybe I’ll find it in the store again. :(

I can’t bring myself to pay full price for swiftlies either, especially LS! That’s too bad that you’re regretting the return, but maybe one of the upcoming RSYB’s will help? :) The stripes showing through can definitely be an issue if most of your tops are lighter colors. :

Darn! Was hoping for those narrow bold WUC’s this week! May cave and grab full length & Bali crb. But I am kind of over summer stuff.

Those two would look especially nice together. :) I’m definitely not at summer capacity yet myself, lol, but I’m sure fall is going to break the bank too. Yikes.

Just letting you know that the cyber stripe pants are ah-maz-ing, but you have to be picky on pattern placement. I tried on 3-4 pairs in the store before I found my best pair. They are really comfy and completely opaque though.

As much as I really want red items, I’m holding off for currant to come back. I bought one love red item a few years ago (crb), and it was not very satisfying….I barely wear it.

Yeah, I don’t think I’d wear a love red CRB much either, but I do get a ton of wear out of my love red speeds. :) I’m glad you were able to nab a pair of cyber stripes, I could picture them looking great on you. I’m too “meh” about them myself to payfull price though. I think I’d prefer the silver spoon WAFS crops anyway…

Did I totally miss the existence All Sport Crops in back spin stroke peacock blue (like the Back Pack It jacket)? Snagged a pair in my store over the weekend but then couldn’t find any evidence they’d ever existed (in any country) anywhere online.

I don’t think so? I don’t really remember seeing those.

I momentarily thought I was being dumb when the back spin stroke peacock top speed crops uploaded, but mine are definitely all sports — they have the bonded zip pocket and the same length, not to mention the tag and the item listing on my email receipt saying they are all sport crops in BSSX. Not that it really matters, I suppose, just confused as to how I appear to have the only pair of these in existence! Attaching a picture.
