The theme of this week’s upload seems to be easy, loose layers with an emphasis on yoga. Most colors and prints are pretty soft tonight, with most brights taking a back seat for now.
(Although I mentioned in my post yesterday that some lulu news will be scaled back, upload posts are still going to stick around for now!)
Canada got 4 colors of the refresh maxi dress, including this new black/white stripe, the bordeaux/black cherry previewed on last week’s WWL, the hyperstripe seen in the US, and a heathered grey as well.
Ebb to street pants are now available in dashing purple (shown) and poseidon, US only.
New soft summer jacket, a moto style made of tencel. Definitely don’t love.
Funky new design on the new superb tank in Canada.
New inner essence layers: a bra and a skirt, both in 3 colors and made of vitasea. The waistband of the skirt kinda kills it for me, it’s too underwear-y and I don’t think it would look very good with a shirt tucked in.

New kickin’ it backpack. The zip top design is similar to the new party om bag, and the front black pocket borrows from the sweat and go bag.
The new straight up tank comes in very light flare. Will this be a June color, I wonder?
Vinyasa scarves are still trickling in. This classic stripe silver fox version is in Canada, though I wonder if this was supposed to come out several months ago when other silver fox stuff was around.
The om for all bag is back in white diamond palm, Canada only. Speaking of which, the white diamond palm summer lovin’ tote is now in the US.
Totally jealous that Canada got this race to win run hat in floral backdrop, which I’ve gotten kind of hellbent on wanting since its first sighting several weeks ago. They didn’t get the one in crosscourt petal yet, though!

Yep, noticed her arms as well. Oddly, they seem to scream out — “look at these awesome biceps!” I’m also hoping the floral race to win hat makes it to US soon. I asked the lulu online reps about the length of the bill/brim and they said it was just under 3 inches, which works for me. I hate short-billed caps… somewhat useless. And I definitely hope you keep up with the lulu news and reviews (and funny/articulate comments). Even though some pics might be commonly circulating among the blogs, I really appreciate your comments. My body shape is closer to your shape than that of some of the other bloggers, so it’s helpful to get more applicable (at least for me) viewpoints on look/fit/sizing. So, thank you for blogging on!
Yes, I’m definitely just cutting back, not eliminating! Glad you appreciate my thoughts! I live kind of far from a store–wish I could get there more often for more reports. They should just build a store where I am, hah.
If the inner essence skirt gets marked down enough (like $39 or so) I might consider it as a summer alternative for super lazy days. But def need to cover that heinous waistband…

The White Diamond Palm Om for all bag is pretty for Spring and Summer. I’d like some Clarity Run Times and Poseidon Run Times which I think are coming. I think looking at your blog because it often has different stuff I don’t see on other Lulu blogs.
The poseidon run times got uploaded to Canada so I bet they’ll be in the US soon, too!
Totally agree with a previous poster regarding following a blogger with a similar body shape to mine. It makes your opinions on fit, cut, etc. so much more valuable. However, I am thrilled that you’ll be expanding your horizons. I would love to see more reviews from other fitness brands. Have you ever tried anything from Alo Yoga? They have some really cute tops. I have a pair of their crops (my club sells a lot of their stuff) and I have been pretty pleased with them so far. I’m considering buying a few of their tops too.
Also I grabbed the palm print summer lovin’ tote this afternoon. Hooray!
