Another upload about 30 minutes early tonight. The major theme today was the hot yoga goods that have started getting to stores. We all knew this was coming, so that’s not too ground-breaking. There’s still quite a bit of animal swirl floating around, and fatigue chevron shuffle made quite a bit of a showing, too.
Surprise run times shorts in fatigue chevron shuffle/split pea. YAY CONTRASTING TRIM!! +1, lulu. Not a fan of these in particular, but I like the idea behind it. To me, this design hearkens back to some of the older (better) shorts designs. They’re almost reminiscent of fossil twisted stripe/split pea.
Fatigue chevron shuffle rolldown wunder under pants. No 12.
Fatigue chevron shuffle inspire tights. No 2 or 12.
Both ways bomber jacket in Canada. It’s reversible and made of polar-tec. The pockets here seem really awkwardly placed, and the whole thing seems sort of generic and shapeless. This one gets the “fug” medal.
On the other hand, this inkwell energy bra is a beautiful basic. The straps look like either parfait pink or neutral blush. This is in Canada only.
Heathered alberta lake skinny wills in Canada.
These seek the heat shorts (alberta lake) have potential to be cute, and have a subtle, cute bit of mesh trim around the hem, but I can’t help but wonder if they would work better in a size down.
Conductor stripe alberta lake wunder under crops in Canada. No 2 or 12.
Relaxed fit pants in Canada. These seem to have a slightly more modern cut to them versus the older still pants, although I’m not sure what to think about those back pockets.
Mudra scarf made of bamboo-rayon. I would love to see this in stores. I’m near a store for the next week so I’m hoping they’ll get it in. $58 is a manageable price point for this.
Also: note the alberta lake sweater underneath.
Another view of the atomic red mudra scarf, plus that same sweater. It has big gaps in the side which is a bit odd.
Other upload notes:
– Hot yoga stuffs: just breathe tank, just breathe long sleeve (only 1 color in US, 4 in Canada), easy breath bra, bonded bra, just breathe pants (only animal swirl in the US), just breathe crops, and hot hot shorts.
– I just cannot get over how awkward the atomic red/prism petal mesh with me tank is.
– New pretty purple swiftly long sleeve in the US.
– Fatigue green swiftly 1/2 zip in the US.
– The lookout stripe breezy tank is cute.
– Tonka stripe heathered slate/split pea free to be wild bra in the US, but not in 2 or 12.
– Fresh fleur (flow y bra) has gotta be one of my least favorite prints of late.
– New evolution leg warmers in a cotton knit.
– US got that inkwell/caspian blue pique vinyasa. I’m semi-reluctantly passing on this one for now. It’s pretty, but I don’t wear a lot of navy and feel like I would always reach for my other piques.

Nothing for me this week. I received the Black Cherry and Deep Camo High Times I ordered last week – both are keepers. They’re actually made in Canada and opaque – who knows when I’ll see that again. Since I decided to keep both, I ended up returning the Alberta Lake Festival Bag (a bit shiny for my tastes anyway) and the Inkwell Fluffed Up vest I bought in December. I kept the Alberta Lake one instead. I don’t feel like I need more than one (unless one gets released in red or another colour I adore next year, in which case all bets are off) and I prefer that the reflective stripe on the AL is the same colour as the vest instead of grey. I also got the Alberta Lake SS Swiftly in store this week. I’m ready for colour now – bring on spring shades!

Nothing for me either. Sounds like you made some shrewd decisions with your other keeps versus returns, too. :) Just 2 more uploads left to “endure” for the month to stay on budget, lol. I expect the first upload of February will be big though, because that’s when they’ll probably start rolling out spring stuff in full force. Hopefully some nice new colors!
Deb says
Good to know that the first drop in February might be a big one. I don’t think I’ll bother with anything else this month unless we see CRBs or SS Swiftly releases in fabulous colours. I’m not into all the mesh or animal/chevron prints going on right now.
Agent Athletica says
To be fair, a big upload doesn’t necessarily mean it will be an exciting one. :) I’m not super into what’s out right now either. I’m ok with mesh and animal prints sometimes, but these have been “meh” for me so far.

Deb, reading your comment turned me on to the Deep Camo High Times… Thanks! Just ordered and am excited to try them.
I actually like the fatigue chevron inspire tights, too, but I think it might be more of an “in theory…” kind of thing. Before upload, I was sure I was going to get them, but now that they’re here I feel like I should just save my money. And the full outfit catalog pic looked goofy to me but maybe that’s just me. Either way it didn’t help nudge me over the edge to purchase. I’m still intrigued, and am eager to try a pair of inspire tights. Hoping to try them in store one of these days.

Hi AA, do you think we should stop holding our breath for stained glass love FTB and SSs in menthol/pink? Seriously, Australia is the favored child. Or we might get the collection in later Spring?
Agent Athletica says
I’m not giving up hope. If they were released in Australia only I would’ve given up by now, BUT I believe both of those (the speeds for sure) did come to Canada. I can’t think of anything off the top of my head that was released in Canada but never came to the US. Considering how late uploads of some items have been, I wouldn’t be surprised if these were delayed somehow. I’m being stubborn about this. :)

OK! I’m with you on this :D

Last year it took a month for the Flare Rad Plaid speeds to make it from the Canada upload to the U.S. upload. I remember because those were a have to have upon me seeing them. They are still one of my faves. Sometimes it has taken awhile. My guess is the port issues are causing some delays in the N.A. uploads as well.
Agent Athletica says
Good point about rad plaid! I agree with your guess that these were affected by the port issues.

I thought I was going to make it through January without buying anything, but I caved this week. I wear my long sleeve swiftlys daily now, so that gave me enough reason to buy the pretty purple one, which will go with all my bottoms. Also got the black resolution hobo bag since I love big purses and can use it for general, travel, and even work when I don’t need to bring my laptop.
Agent Athletica says
Of course the pretty purple one would be a must for you. :) The resolution hobo looks nice. I’d love for them to do more crossbodies (that are more like purses instead of duffels) since that style is more ergonomic than shoulder bags. I prefer more of a messenger bag crossbody style than a hobo myself, though.

stupid move on their part to make parts of the chevron print faded. you can see it in photos above. several weeks ago I ordered the chevron print towel and noticed it was faded and thought it was because I had washed it. but then I saw the photos online of the towel and it seems it’s intentional, who knows why. and now they’ve done it in the print on the pants…

Oh that’s interesting, I hadn’t seen that. I was at a store yesterday but they didn’t have anything in this print. I guess the “distressing” is supposed to go with the theme of the earthy colors and such…idk.

Is it just me or are the length of the legs in the run times shorts different? I know some people in my Facebook groups have had issues with that (luckily not me yet). Can’t they at least pick a pair that isn’t faulty for the website picture?
Agent Athletica says
I’m pretty sure it’s just the way the pic is taken. I’ve taken pics of my own shorts where it looks like the legs are different lengths even though they aren’t. The lengths look the same in the stock pic from the front: https://images.lululemon.com/is/image/lululemon/LW7B36S_016518_2?$pdp_main$ That said, it seems like sloppy photo quality control. I’m sure something like this doesn’t exactly help sales. :)
