November 4, 2014 / 18 Comments

The frenzy of today continues!

I decided the European upload needed its own post.  Gotta make sure you did not miss this shizzz.

Boom juice cool racerback!  I still want berry yum yum but this one looks nice.

Heathered black herringbone think fast long sleeve.

Last but not least: stained glass love neutral blush speed shorts.  Pretty sure these are 2-way stretch. My wallet can breathe another sigh of relief with these.

Lastly, new giant houndstooth jacquard black tracker shorts.  I wonder if we’ll be seeing more houndstooth this winter?

Pigment and nightfall are great colors! I’m excited to see more items.

I may be in the minority, but I really don’t like quilted waistbands on my speeds. Too much going on.

If you’re in the minority, I’ll join you! I don’t either. I prefer solid or maybe wee stripe. I only have one quilted waistband speeds, and those are the love reds with the black twin stripes, so the quilting is pretty simple. Also, nightfall has been kind of hit or miss–the nightfall jacket looks so much lighter, almost like purple fog, whereas the fluffed up scarf and mittens make it look closer to black grape.

I hope nightfall is darker, more like black grape or deep zin. But pigment will probably be my weakness anyway!

My budget is limited, so I need to focus on fit (no weird sleeve puckers) and quality (no swiftlies), in addition to color!
That said, I absolutely love every item I bought during fall/ winter last year.

I hope it is too. I don’t like the lighter shade either. Also I totally agree re: needing to focus on fit, quality, and color. It’s easy to get caught up in the frenzy (especially spending so much time on this blog!) but I try hard to keep myself in check and not order things I would fall out of love with in a matter of weeks.

I love two way speeds and I’m already eyeing so many upcoming ones. I am screwed as I have a frightening collection. Someone asked me in class today whether I own a lululemon store as she keeps seeing me in new items. Yikes!

Haters gonna hate. :) I’ve seen numerous women with collections of over 50 speeds alone, and at least one with over 100. You’re probably not in the danger zone yet…

I’m actually not surprised. The other pleat to street skirts sold out pretty quickly, and this color definitely the best of the bunch.

Didn’t know what I was thinking :( Figured no one would get this with winter approaching. So wrong. The color is stunning! I hope more stock comes in.

If you like I can see about picking one up for you. I’m in the US (SoCal). If you’re interested let me know what size you need. I saw like all the sizes yesterday but they may be selling quickly.

Marshmallow & AA, Thanks for offering! : ) Persuaded my sweet sweet brother in CA to get it for me. He was like “lulu-what?” We are from different realms.

Yay! Oddly, my brother introduced me to lulu! (If he only knew what he was doing…) Anyway, glad you have one coming your way :)
