Spotted: New Sashico Cross Speeds

September 7, 2014 / 8 Comments

New sashico cross speed shorts–they are 4-way stretch.  Note the area above the piping is patchwork sashico.  I can’t decide how I feel about these.  I think they’re nice, but not a must have.

Also: when the sashico pace setter came out, I speculated whether there would be speeds in the same print, and here they are.  Now I’m even more suspicious that lumberjack speeds will be a thing due to the existence of the lumberjack pace setter.  BRING IT ON LULU.

Love those. I wore my bumble berry CRB with the inky floral SS for a kettlebell workout last night. Perfect combination.

I’m not usually a fan of contrast trim, but these are so cute! I like the yellow zipper too!
The speed shorts sizing has been so weird lately. I always seem to pick the wrong size.

Yeah, there’s been a quality issue (“pattern tolerance”) with speed shorts all summer. According to a guy who works at corporate, he said they’d be back to normal in the fall, which should be right about now. So if you’ve been having bad luck over the summer, you might have better luck with these upcoming releases. :)

        Thanks!
I missed out on some cute colors this summer. But with Lulu that is no big deal ! There is always something “coming soon.”

OOoh the patchwork is cute, and it means a little more effort went into the making of this pair of shorts. :) Hope the price remains the same. Agree with KT, that zipper is cute! Another broke week coming right up!

I was told the sashico speeds are $4 more than the regular kind. Wtf? Ugh, lulu. Nickeling and diming everywhere lately. :(

I’m pretty pissed too. I’m definitely not getting it. Not for another two days LOL. But I must say, LLM got me interested in the sashico arts. The Japanese traditional embroidery is just so pretty. Now, if the SS sashico fabric comes with real embroidery needle work, I’ll pay more.

The Run Times in bordeaux with bumble berry trim is pretty too, but not as pretty as the bumble berry ss. I”m sorry I missed out on them :(
