Product Banner Sneak Peeks: Another Down Coat + Chevron Scarf + More

November 4, 2014 / 11 Comments

The product banners were updated for winter today!  I can’t get a break even for one second today–I think my fingers might fall off.

Anyway, here are a few sneak peeks of what’s to come:

na_wi14_banner_sweatersandwraps

New knit sweater.

This is another down jacket–it’s NOT the fluffed up jacket.  The seams are curved on this one and the zipper is not reflective, plus the fluffed up does not have a hood.  This reminds me of an old down jacket but I can’t put my finger on the name.

na_wi14_banner_womensbags

New satchel-ish bag–looks like deepest cranberry?

na_wi14_banner_womensheadwearandscarves

New scarf: this looks like the chevron shuffle print seen in HK earlier today, just in black/white.  This could be really nice.

na_wi14_banner_womenstanks

Pigment (I think?) striped swiftly tech tank.

na_wi14_banner_womenstops

New long sleeve tee: looks like heathered going grape (maybe nightfall?), and looks like cotton.  This looks similar to last year’s open your heart LS–reversible with stripes on the other side.

It looks like it’s a smaller bag than lulu usually makes. My curiosity is piqued…

Lulu bags are one of the items I know very little about. Could you recommend a couple good bags for overnight or weekend trips, especially ones that could double as small carry on?
        Thanks!

I confess I don’t have a *ton* of experience with lulu bags. I have a weekend warrior bag that I use for travel, and I love it to pieces. I’ve used it for overnight/weekend visits and as a carry-on for flights. The keep on running duffel is also a popular choice–it’s a touch bigger than the weekend warrior, but you may not need the biggest possible size for your purposes. The WW can be a bit hard to come by, since you’d have to pick it up on the resale market since it’s not currently for sale via lulu, but I definitely recommend it if you do see it somewhere. Lulu should be due to put out another duffel though (I got my WW around this time last year), so you might want to hold off and see if they make anything good in the coming few weeks.

Also: the cranberry bag is out in Canada stores today! It’s actually on the big side, though, not small.

            Thanks!
The new bag looks awesome, but doesn’t seem as functional as the weekend warrior bag. I’m not in a rush, so I can wait to see what comes out in the next couple months.:)

Do you think the sweater is the passage sweater? LOVE your blog, you’re doing amazing :) Your Lulu problems are hilarious!

Thank you!! :) I don’t think it’s the passage sweater, no, but it’s similar. Here’s a pic of the passage: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kYraZ9PTH_A/UqIgVZ4gjcI/AAAAAAABDpU/-QxiJoaWhCA/s1600/passage+sweater+black+and+white+wdf.jpg The key difference to me (besides the knit pattern difference) is the shoulder seam: this new one appears to have a drop shoulder, instead of the diagonal seam on top of the shoulder that the passage sweater does.
