I have an OT question – I was first drawn to Lulu late last year when I saw a pic of the Run For Fun crops online. I fell in love with them, so I rushed to lulu’s site only to find that they were long sold out. I’ve only been paying attention to this stuff for about six months – would the Run For Fun crops come back this year, or was that a one off kind of thing? If they aren’t coming back, would anyone know if these crops are worth seeking in the second hand market?

It’s possible they’ll come back, tough to say. They’ve been out at least 2 years in a row (the 2 previous years I mean), so I would maybe lean toward them switching it up this year but who knows! I remember people really liked the WAFS versions (released in 2013 I think) but the bruised berry wee stripe from last year (and maybe other colors?) ended up languishing on MD for a while, not sure why. I’ve seen some decent deals pop up on ebay here and there.

Thanks for the response! I decided to do a cursory search on Ebay and actually found a WAFS crop, NWT, in my size. Mean to be, no doubt :D

Do you think the Iconic wrap is going to sell out? I’m tempted to wait and see if it makes it to WMTM. I don’t if it’s super popular or not.

The way Lulu has been doing the WMTM is that they wait until there are only 1 or 2 sizes left in an item before moving it to WMTM. Usually it’s 10’s and 12’s. If you are those sizes it might go to WMTM. However, I also noticed that some newer stuff goes to WMTM within a couple of weeks or so (design fails maybe?). So it’s really hard to tell. I just noticed that they seem to now wait till it’s almost sold out before moving stuff over nowadays.

Thanks for the tip! May have to pull the trigger on it. It’s very cute but quite the investment for one top. I skipped the rain on jacket for the same reason.

Yeah I agree with guest. They’re so stingy with WMTM these days. It seems like mostly the capsule collections that go to MD (if you’re lucky, hot to street, etc), or the seasonal prints. Since the iconic wrap is basic and pretty versatile for most seasons, I’d be surprised if it was MD’d anytime in the remotely near future. It’s been released a few times before though in different variations (e.g., all boolux instead of some tencel) and I’ve seen them go for pretty good prices on ebay.

Ah! Yeah that sounds about right. Wishful thinking on my part. I’m in TX so a new wrap at this point prob won’t get wear until fall. Hmmm. On another note, just got my mummy pants aaaand I’m obsessed. Didn’t even realize they were luxtreme! Love!

I just got back from an in-store visit- I wanted to see the poseidon CRB, and boooo!
For me, it’s really thin, and on the shiny side- it felt similar to the savasana camo CRB from a while back.
I’m really disappointed, and think I’m gonna pass on it.
Also, what’s with the new cheapie embedded plastic logos (that are only on a single side) on the CRB’s now?
    Whatevs……..

Awww that’s too bad about the poseidon CRB. I’m not sure how I feel about the heathered poseidon look–I’m not sure if it’s enough of a saturated blue for me. Still contemplating. I hope that doesn’t mean a heathered jeweled magenta CRB (IF they make it) will also be thin and shiny. :( Also, I can kind of see both ways with the plastic logos. They can look nice in that they’re a little more subtle.
