Next Week: Hot to Street Line + Heat Wave CRB + Ultra Violet On The Daily Hoodie

April 9, 2015 / 9 Comments

This week’s what we love is live.  Sadly, it’s super-boring.  It’s mostly the hot to street line, plus other stuff that’s already been previewed on international sites.  Meh.

In addition to what’s here, Katelin noted in the comments that Canada can expect an upload of an item with the hint “everyone’s favorite yoga pose”.  Presumably, this will be the savasana wraps from in stores.

First up in the hot to street line: the bra.  It looks like the bonded bra from the back, but it has a zip front, lower coverage, and no long-line silhouette.

Next up, the tank and shorts.  The tank reminds me of the exquisite tank from the front.  The shorts are just so unfortunate.

The hot to street pants and shorts are in close contest for the worst item in this capsule collection.  There is just so much going on in the pants.  I also don’t like such large swaths of mesh on bottoms, it’s not usually very comfortable in my opinion.  The crops are the closest thing to decent in this capsule in my eyes, but I don’t love the perforated mesh (see a close up/more pics on the Aussie site) and I don’t love the back seaming either.

Prints on their way for Canadians: the iridescent miss misty and the heat wave cool racerback.  I do like the heat wave CRB, I think it will look great with bright solids but also isn’t too overwhelming since it’s monochromatic.  That said, I don’t love polyester.  I will have to wait for more reviews and pics of this.

Lastly, for the US, the heathered marled ultra violet on the daily hoodie is coming, which lots of people seemed to be anticipating.  Also, the neon pink swiftly racerback is coming, which for some reason lagged significantly behind other neon pink swiftlies.  It’s definitely neon pink, not electric coral, since you can see the same pics of the same swiftly on the Aus website right now.

What’s strange is that I bought the neon pink swiftly tank last summer when it first appeared and mine looks NOTHING like this color. Mine is much lighter & brighter….

I believe last year was either zing pink or pow pink light (or both) which were neony pinks. I don’t recall an actual color name of heathered neon pink so this is a different pink.

There was for sure a neon pink swiftly last year: https://agentathletica.com/page/6/?s=neon+pink A lot of people got excited over this color but were disappointed when it basically only ended up showing up in a swiftly, a WAFS forme, and the trim on a few other things.

The stock pics as well as “real life” pics of the neon pink swiftlies all look SOOO variable. I don’t get it either.

Meh…I am really hoping the var-city bra is part of next week’s upload for the US. Would love to see an EC CRB, too. Since I can’t buy the EC WUP/Cs due to sheerness, I want to see more EC tops! I totally agree with you re: those pants – ick.

I would definitely consider an EC CRB too. With our luck, they’ll probably make it in the poopy studio racerback instead of the CRB, or they’ll make it some unfortunate stripes pattern or something. :P

Hello! Was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to try the heat to street bra, tempted to get that due to the front zipper :)
The last time I bought a front clasp bra from lulu (hot yoga line, can’t remember what it was), the band was so tight it was almost unwearable. Couldn’t return it though as I bought it off the markdown rack.

Have way many energy and 50 rep bras LOL! sigh I think I’ve too many sports bras these days that I have to use them for everything to justify their presence in my wardrobe hahah

I haven’t tried that one yet! I feel you though, sometimes I feel like I need out branch out from my endless energy bras…lol.
