Just a handful of notable new arrivals to report from this week’s lululemon uploads overseas in Asia, Europe, and Australia:
New run times shorts in a new print, watermark. These are watermark slate with a grapefruit waistband. This looks really similar to both petal camo and animal swirl from recent months.
Also in watermark news: embossed black watermark inspire crops.
Although the sweaty or not capsule was featured pretty heavily in this week’s North American upload, there were a couple pieces from the line that were missing, like this sweaty or not jacket. It’s a lightweight jacket with all-over perforation.
Also from the same capsule: the sweaty or not crop tee. Lulu has been mixing gold fibers in with some of their colors, like iris flower/gold here. I don’t really love that it makes otherwise bright and/or saturated colors like iris flower look muted.
These sculpt shorts appeared in pipe dream blue. I wonder if we’ll be seeing more of this color again? Lulu has been recycling some few colors from last spring/summer, like jeweled magenta and bali breeze, so it wouldn’t be too shocking if this one got thrown into the mix, too (it was a prominent color in spring ’14).
New scratch match angel wing all you need duffel.
Lastly, another new race to win run hat in sketchy palms. Are the palms, like, leering in a dark alley getting ready to knife you? That’s all I can picture when I read this name. Anyway, I’ve been wearing my recently acquired floral backdrop run hat pretty much non-stop, so I might like another one in a neutral print like this. I’ve never been a hat person, so my recent discovery that hats are actually really useful is kind of news to me. Who knew? (All of you. All of you knew this already.)

You’re right, the black watermark embossed inspire crop fabric looks IDENTICAL to my animal swirl embossed inspire tight fabric I bought 6 months ago. I looove those tights, but why the identical print lulu? Don’t get it.

I suppose the print goes with lots of things, but still, spacing them out a little more might’ve been nice. Just seems a bit repetitive.
Mandy says
Haha I love your sense of humour!!!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Hehe thanks Mandy!

I don’t wear hats either – they make my head itchy! Neither do I wear shorts but those sculpt shorts are tempting. Or maybe it’s just that blue color that I’m loving. I’d love that in a Seamlessly Street crop or ITF!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
You know, hats usually make my head itchy too, but my new one hasn’t for some reason!
Emily says
Those palms sure seem sketchy…! ;)
I just picked up on lulu’s current obsession with leafy prints. Sketchy palms, banana leaf (those WUCs appeal to me!), and the stripe play print looks kinda leaf-like too. And now this print that is a dead ringer for animal swirl? Overkill much?
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
I have to admit, the banana leaf print is growing on me a little bit too, but only the black/white version. I doubt I’ll actually buy anything in it, though.

I don’t think I could have done my marathon training in the rainy Northwest without a hat. Now, I’m in SoCal and wear hats to protect my face and scalp from the sun. I don’t think I look good in hats but I have found a use. I own a couple of the Sup hats, liking those
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yeah, sometimes function has to come before fashion, haha. I doubt it’s as silly looking as you think, though. :)
kC says
Yeah, pipe dream blue! Also, I’m glad the run hat is working out well for you. Watch out for those sketchy palms!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Haha yes I’ll have to be careful! ;) I wouldn’t say no to more pipe dream either. I didn’t end up buying any last year, but I’m a big blue fan in general.
Angie says
Does anyone know if the new sunset stripe speed shorts are running small like the last several newly released pairs have been?
Emily Bearden says
I haven’t bought speeds in such a long time due to the fit. I tried these on yesterday in my old tts speed shorts size 6 and they fit perfectly. Not too tight. I wear size 4 in crops and pants.
Angie says
Thank you!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yup, I haven’t really heard anyone saying they run small either. The solids seem more likely to run tight than the prints.
Mel says
LOL – sketchy palms leering in a dark alley…
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Hehe. ;)
