A few new additions to lulu’s international websites this week:
As I alluded to earlier in tonight’s upload post, there’s a new pedal to the medal capsule for running. Can’t say I’m in love with the asymmetrical color piping on the pedal to the medal tights. But at least these escaped the mesh treatment, for those of you who are really over it.
Here’s the pedal to the medal tee. Just a silverescent tee mostly, just with little baby cap sleeves. Alarming, tranquil blue, and ace spot grain seem to be the main colorways for this collection.
New speed shorts in dottie dash grain. Blah. Apparently every kind of shorts lulu makes is going to be made in no less than 2 iterations of dottie dash.
Top speed crops with narrow bold stripe in front and a black back panel. This is a nice amount of stripe, especially for those who are print-shy.
More stripes: wunder under crops in narrow bold stripe. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the pants for sheerness, so I imagine these will be the same. I think the cropped length looks better on these than the full length, but I basically always feel that way about stripes.
I love these new rolldown wunder under crops in wee are from space silver spoon. If you remember from last week’s international upload post, these are similar to the new special edition WUC featured there. I actually prefer this simpler design.
Just breathe pants appear to be returning, since these are in a current colorway, watermark embossed black (not to mention are shot with the recently overhauled photo style, too).
New hotty hot shorts in alley stripe angel wing. Some heavy pajama vibes here (kinda like last year’s sweet spot hotty hots).
Yet another pleat to street skirt in alarming. After their initial success when they debuted last year, these seem to be taking up residence as a pretty constant fixture.
Interesting new splendour bra color: stripe play with grapefruit accents.
New vinyasa scarf in beach blanket stripe angel wing. The Hong Kong website doesn’t specify, but I wonder if this is vitasea like the new stony grape stripe vinyasa?
New gather and sprint crops in WAFS black slate. These just have a simple mesh insert at the sides, not really any other fancy or complicated design elements. They’re a 19″ inseam run crop, which is a length I don’t think lulu has been doing much of lately, so this might find a sweet spot for folks who want something right in between top speeds and inspires/pace rivals.

boom juice is pink and alarming is red-orange
Yes, I agree with h|c. Boom juice is a reddish pink, but alarming is much more of an orangey red. I don’t actually have the two so I can’t compare them side by side, though.
Those striped WUCs are so similar to the Athleta ones that have been out for a while. I have them and they’re pretty great and not sheer at all so easy to pass on these.
I thought the same, this is the second lulu pair that remind me of athleta. And athletas pair is thicker than the lulus luon.
The only thing I got tonight was that bali breeze crb. Uninspired lately though am glad they are toning down the mesh finally!
It’s only been like 1 or 2 weeks since the last mesh bombardment, so we may not be out of the woods yet, lol.
Agreed, they do look really similar. I heard a few people complain that their Athleta stripes were starting to have problems after just a few washes, but if you get one of the good ones, definitely a great buy. I have lulu’s parallel stripe though, which are my favorites anyway.
No issues with mine and I’ve had them since they first came out!
I really like those top speed stripe crops. Will definitely be getting those if they turn up in the US. I also like the cap sleeves on the Pedal to Medal tee. I know they’re not for everybody but as someone who’s not a wearer of short sleeves very often, cap sleeves are a nice compromise.
I think the cap sleeves are cute, too!
I think they finally hit a balanced/appropriate amount of mesh in those gather and sprints, hope we get those too…..
Yes, agree! I don’t mind a little mesh, it can look nice, and I think these pull it off.
I will pounce on those WS Silver Spoon WU crops if they load here. I”m not usually one for colour blocking, but I kind of like those Petal to the Metal tights. I’d consider them.
WARNING: First world problem angst. In a couple of weeks, my family and I are going on a trip of a lifetime (three weeks in Australia/New Zealand) and although I’m really looking forward to the trip, I’m worrying about where to ship my orders when I’m gone! You just KNOW the best items of the year will drop while I’m travelling. You know you’re an addict when…

Yeahhh I definitely get that! I think if you download the fedex app (or maybe contact them), you can actually have them hold your packages for you instead of deliver them. (I’ve never done this myself though so I can’t speak from experience.) Or of course you could have a neighbor or friend scoop them up off your doorstep for you if that’s not going to be too embarrassing. ;)
I usually work at home the day my orders drop (coincidence, I’m not such an addict that I arranged my life that way). I do have someone staying at the house, but my orders tend to get delivered about 11:00am and I don’t want them to sit outside unattended until after work.

On the upside, I’ll check out Lorna Jane while I’m there.
Ahhh I see. I’ve always had packages left out for a few hours during the day and it’s never been an issue, but that’s certainly not the case for everyone!

Yeah I’ve quickly gotten tired of it. The black and white version was cute for a little while, but yeesh, calm down lulu.
