I’ve been curious to try out Ultracor. I really the look of this new geometric print and purple abstract floral print. There are a couple other new Ultracor styles via Carbon38 here.
Stripes lovers: here’s another one for your consideration. These crops are by newbie brand Chill by Will, available via Carbon38. I think they’re pretty darn cute.
These colorful new Zella crops from Nordstrom are really cute and fun for spring. And as usual, Zella brings the value: these are only $52, full price.
I don’t often find something that strikes my fancy from Under Armour, but the pixelated floral print on these tights is actually pretty neat. At $125, though, they’re quite a lot more expensive than UA’s usual offerings. Found via Nordstrom.
Lululemon joined Sweaty Betty in a Brazil-inspired spring collection. They’re already pushing quite a few new products in this new capoeira print.
Red grape is another of lulu’s new colors for spring. It’s reminiscent of bordeaux drama, so it’s pretty for similar reasons. These are the high times metta.
Manduka is famous for their yoga mats, but now they’ve broken into the clothing world, too. They have several interesting pieces in their new debut collection, like the cross strap bra and flux legging shown above. See the whole collection here.
I found another new brand, Altar Ego, via Instagram recently. I’m liking this skulls n skins print, which the brand says are made of a totally opaque fabric. I’m intrigued, but a bit hesitant since it says they run a little big.
Lastly, Alala’s end of season sale is in full swing! You can scoop up some nice deals on their fall/winter collection. The weekender dress, one of my favorites, is marked down to $95. I’m hoping the poseidon flyweight tee sticks around til my spending ban is lifted. :)

I’m planning on getting something from the new Werkshop collection, which she said she’s hoping will be out the 19th or the following week. Does she usually send out emails in the morning when her new collections come out, the night before, or later during the day? Also since she is only releasing four of the ten designs this month, do you think she’ll at least release images of the patterns for the other six so I don’t buy a pair then end up loving the later releases more?
RoadBunner says
I am also hoping she’ll release hints of what is to come so I can decide which I’d like to get, too!

I’m OBSESSED with Clownfish but I can’t drop $98 on this college budget (especially after my lulu splurges this year – yeesh) without being 100% sure an even more awesome one won’t come along!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
That’s reasonable! :) The nice thing is, even if you wait, she’ll restock the clownfish if they sell out, so you’re not running the risk of missing out altogether. :)
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Actually, I’m not totally sure about that. I THINK she only previews one chapter at once, but she does show all the designs within that chapter, usually in advance if I remember correctly. She actually posted a pic of “chapter 1” today. They’re dropping on Friday: https://www.instagram.com/p/BB290qgnSdy/?taken-by=werkshop They’re so pretty!!

If you want a sneak peek of the future Werkshop releases, check out Instagram @thebriannabarnes. It looks like she’s one of the models, and there is a picture posted a couple of days ago with several pairs in the background, including sharks, turtles, and different color pairs of mermaid scales. If you keep track of Werkshop’s IG, you’ll notice that she provides ample telegraphing of releases and design intentions, and also there are a few yogis who model unreleased styles on their own pages.

Oooooh, nice find! ;)

I ordered the Altar Ego pants and will update with comments when I get them. They have a promo code posted DREAMBIG for 15% off right now.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Ohh cool! Will definitely be interested to hear what you think. :)

I received my Skulls N Skins leggings from Altar Ego. I purchased in a medium and they definitely run big because these fit me with a little more room than my typical size 8 or 10 Lulu. I didn’t like them though :( because they are not completely opaque. I tried them on with underwear that had flowers on them and sure enough you can see the underwear through the leggings just while standing. In a squat, forget it, it’s all visible. (Pic attached to show the flower print through the white).

Darn, that’s a bummer. :( Thanks for the review!

Uzima has 50% off all regular price items using LOVE50. Small selection but I got a Solow sweatshirt I was eyeing and some Nimble tights.
VB says
Thank you for posting this discount, I was able to snag the Nimble tights in dark floral (the ones AA posted a week or so ago) for 50% off! =D
Helen says
Np, I ordered the Lara floral pair in my size up. For 50% off I’m willing to try. Hope they work out for both of us!

Thanks for sharing this!! :)

AA, do you know who else has crops with thigh pockets besides Lulu and Athleta?
Allie says
Michi has some great ones. Some more traditional brands like under armor and brooks do them now, too.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Good question… I can’t think of others off the top of my head but I’ll come back to this if any come to mind. :)
Lizz says
I have these Glyder crops with thigh pockets and I LOVE them. Great for running and spinning, though the thigh pocket matters less in spin, they’re just really high quality.

Thanks for posting these, Lizz! :D
Bianca, I also found this brand, Devon Maryn, who sells couple of side pocket bottoms! http://www.devonmaryn.com/collections/yoga-pants
Lizz says
Oh! Sorry for the second post but these are back in stock and they are such cool tights from Vie Active. They also have thigh pockets and I’ve worn them for running, hiking, and spin and they are really great. They also come in a few other colors I believe.

I love the look of the purple abstract print by Ultracor but for $185- ouch! And I just realized why Lululemon & Sweaty Beaty are doing Brazil prints- the Olympics are taking place in Brazil this year. haha. My husband pointed that out to me today. So smart!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yes! I actually meant to note that in my post, but I was in a bit of a hurry so apparently I forgot. Kudos to him for making the connection!
Halah says
I bought a pair of heavily discounted Ultracor leggings from Saks ($58)…they fit like a glove, have built-in underwear which I’m still not sure how I feel about that HOWEVER, the top part wasn’t really black more of a dark charcoal and the sweat showing after a intense workout was very noticeable!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Thanks for the mini-review. :) For that price, I’d definitely try a pair!
Jenn @ Dashing in Style says
I’m going nuts over that ultracor purple abstract legging! Hoping my size will still be around when it goes on sale.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Heh, yes, they seem like the kind of thing you’d like. ;)

I have a couple of pairs from Altar Ego. I posted on your K. Deer review about how hard it is to find leggings with a high enough rise for petites with bubble butts. Altar Ego is one of the brands that works, but they do run huge, and there are some design issues that make me uneager to buy more. I am usually an 8/10 in pants, medium in leggings, and the AE mediums provide what we will call a very relaxed fit. I would definitely size down, not sure how small they go, but in their world size 8 = small. Also note that the waistband is kind of bulky, like the way elastic bunches with wear. Oh and the gusset design is horrid, at least on the black and white design with flying birds. That pair has a bright white crotch stitched into a dark gray portion of the design, looking like a visible maxi pad. That is NOT how I want to call attention to myself.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Darn, sounds like they’d definitely be a no go for me. Thanks for saving me the trouble, and for the detailed insight. :)
