New in Australia: Striped CRBs + Misc Bras + Gusto Blue Pace Setter

December 22, 2014 / 15 Comments

New neutral blush cool racerback.  This looks super-nakey but could be practical if you’re very tan or need a nude-ish layer underneath something.

New yachtie stripe cool racerbacks: flash light and pipe dream blue.  Lulu has already made solids of both of these colors in the past, so it’s not too surprising they switched things up.

New all sport bra in unbreakable print.  I really like this print and hope it shows up on a few more interesting items.  Speed shorts with black trim would be super-cool.

3 new energy bras: black/dottie dream rose, flash light, and yachtie stripe menthol.

Lastly, a new pace setter skirt in solid gusto blue.  Since gusto was a seawheeze color, I’m not sure we’ll ever see much of it in North America, but there you go.

Oooo the neutral blush WOULD be good as a nude cami, good idea!

The new cabin yogi LS popped into my head since it seems to be slightly see-through on the lighter colors. The neutral blush CRB under the neutral blush LS would be invisible but still add a little coverage/warmth.

I don’t think anyone has brought this up but the ghost herringbone WUP are actually fantastic. The seaming is grey, not black, and I don’t think they’re too obvious at all. Specially around the crotch area. They’re super compressive and I think they’re a nicer material than they’ve been in the past. I don’t see them getting that fuzzy Rulu look down the line.

Interesting! The original person who spotted them said she didn’t think the seams were that noticeable either. It’s odd because in pics it looks pretty dramatic. I’m watching an auction for a pair of the old school white hb WUP (which aren’t rolldown, huzzah!) so I’ll be interested to see if those go for less than retail of the new ones. Probably can’t bid myself, sadly. Damn holidays, I’m broke, and I need to save for potential Boxing Day MDs. :P

AA- did you know they have regular WUPs (not roll down) in ghost herringbone uploaded on the website? I returned my roll downs in favor of the regular waist – I think they were uploaded last Tuesday? Sleeper item, I only noticed by accident. Plus, they’re $10 cheaper than the roll down! I also agree the seaming isn’t as obvious as the online pics make it seem…

Woah, you’re right… Did not see that! Typically when I miss something, I’ll see it discussed on facebook boards, but not this one. I’m so confused how I missed it now, lol. I agree, I like regular rise better anyway, and the price difference is just the cherry on top. :) Thanks!!!!

Sorry I wasn’t clear, definitely meant WUP Normal*. :-) they’re a hidden gem, I can’t believe they’re still there. Shhh. Seam is definitely lighter on this one than the roll down.

Also, interesting model choice for that CRB. That will look fstraught up (dusty) rose on myself or anyone with a slightly olive or dark skin tone. Their darker models would have made such better choices! Looks like a Spanx cami on her.

I agree, it needs more contrast, and they definitely have models who would look better in it. You kind of have to wonder if they just call one person in on certain days and just have a list of items. That said, at least it doesn’t clash with her skin tone. I could see someone with very yellow undertones looking ghastly in a pink-nude like that.

Upload is up, early, and empty. Nada for this American resident.

Yeah, it sucked pretty bad. I’m gonna check again in an hour and see if they added anything. :P

Yeah I saw it around 1:30 (mountain time) but was out. Of COURSE I had scheduled my day so I would be home around the normal upload time. :P
