I bought the Alberta lake ss swiftly today and just love the color. I also bought inkwell dsp because it looked so good paired with the Alberta lake swiftly!

Am I weird for loving lighter teals and Aqua but not Alberta lake? It always strikes me as more of a forest green with blue undertones. It looks really bad against olive skin anyway :-(

The blue oil spill (slick, yeah yeah) Camo speeds are actually really cute. I almost bought them today for a class but then I looked outside and remembered the snow.

Not weird. I mean, a teal like tropics has a VERY different vibe to it than AL. I’m just not very discriminating. :) I haven’t encountered it IRL yet (next week!), but my skin is decidedly NOT olive, so I’ll probably be ok, lol.

Agreed, Alberta lake is a beautiful color and I can’t wait to see what else comes out in it.

I wanted to love the Alberta Lake SS SO bad, but it’s such a shame how heathered it is! It’s like mostly white with strips of colour.

Yeah, this one is “space dye”, and all the space dyes have that look. They released a regular one a couple years ago when the color was first made, so I guess that’s why they went with space dye this time.

I wonder if space dye is popular for Swiftly’s? The Fuel Green one sat untouched in its full size run for a long time, which was such a missed opportunity because the green is gorgeous.

It seems to go both ways. Some people say they LOVE, others prefer the regular kind. Overall, I’m not sure which one wins out. I really like my pigment space dye, so I think some colors work well, and others just don’t turn out right. Fuel green is a good example of one that would’ve been better solid.

In store, this color story looks ridiculous.

Oh come on, you know you’ve always wanted to pair split pea and parfait pink.
