As always, super funny!
Off topic question- has anyone had the experience of other women commenting on your outfit in a non-complimentary way? For example, “Don’t you shop anywhere else?/ you have so much lulu!/ wow, you must shop there a lot”. What do you say? I’m trying to figure out how best to respond in these situations.

Lol, I just say that I want my stuff to last and tell them when I bought my oldest piece of Lulu, that just shuts them up right away seeing as I’m an instructor and get through two sets of Lulu in a day five days a week. I’m careful about what I buy but even then that’s a lot of punishment for any kind of clothing.

Thank you for these responses! I feel better prepared for the next time this happens (if it does). In general, I feel better so thank you!

I would say “thanks!” As though you are taking it as a compliment.

Thankfully, most people don’t pay enough attention to what I wear to make comments like that to me, haha. If they did, I would probably say something like “yeah, their stuff works really well for me so I end up there a lot”, or just a smile and “yup!”. :) The worst thing you could do is backpedal in that situation–people who say something like that probably are just being judgy and want to feel vindicated by you feeling ashamed or something. Your money, your business.
