It’s time for another roundup of the latest happenings in the activewear universe!
YogaSmoga has released a new textured fabric they call Aurum helix. This particular version they call carbon-6 twist. Regular readers will know that I go mildly nutty over textures, so the crops version of these are already on their way to me. The texture also comes in full-length leggings and the shorter free to play crop.
Here’s a side-by-side of YS’s twist with lululemon’s coco pique. Coco pique is definitely the closest texture, but the two are still not really that alike.
Glyder has ventured into the land of prints:
The tribal revival print comes in full length leggings. There’s been a lot of tribal the past couple months.
Print #2 is the full bloom print crops.
Their cutout ninja crop is now also available in a pretty deep purple called eggplant.
3 of Teeki’s latest prints follow the floral/tribal motif too:
Splits59 has added a couple of new styles, and 3 new color additions to some existing styles.
Cosmic blue is a new shade of sky blue. It looks light here, but shows a little darker on some other items. (Shown: nova trailblazer capri.)
Crimson follows suit with a berry shade–just about every activewear brand has had their own berry tone this fall. Pantone’s fall colors include a berry so I guess this shouldn’t be surprising. (Shown: tone racerback tank.)
Mercury is an interesting shade of light, spring-ish green. (Shown: devon tank.) It looks a little bit more like a true green (although a light one) in their bottoms, like the ginger tight.
The kenzie harem pant is actually a non-offensive harem pant without the usual ridiculous dropcrotch. My brain is confused.
The new estelle v-neck is an interesting twist on your typical gym tee.
The new camille support singlette has a loose bodice and has a built-in bra advertised as providing high-impact support–interesting. (Color is cosmic blue.)

Hi! First and foremost, I LOVE YOUR BLOG! (Especially the “lulu problems” memes you do – hilarious!). Anyway, since you feature other brands here, I wanted to mention a new brand that has just launched – I just placed my first order today, actually. (I’ve been a longtime lulu customer, but have recently been searching for other brands since lulu’s quality and designs have been less than stellar.) It’s called Prana Vida Style: http://pranavidastyle.com. The prints are gorgeous, and the owner’s story is one I’ve been following for quite awhile via her blog and Instagram. She is one of the strongest, most inspirational people. I’m not affiliated with them in any way whatsoever – I just wanted to pass the word along about Amelia and her company. She deserves every happiness and success.

I love how you feature other brands :)
I’ve tried on all three of the teeki designs featured in the article, I liked the Choose Roses print the least, but they turned out to be immensely flattering in real life, and the pink is subtly pretty.
Can’t wait for your feedback on the Aurum helix crops. I’ve held back from getting yogasmoga crops in the past as they reputedly attract lots of pet hair, so I hope this new fabric is an improvement.

Thanks for the tip about the Teeki pants! I’m still dragging my feet on trying a pair even though you insisted I must in another comment a while back, lol. I’m the worst.
