Have you ever tried the Alala bomber jacket or the tech fleece long jacket? With the current sales they can be bought at amazing prices but I was curious about sizing on them. I am a 6 in lulu so I wasn’t sure on size. Although I can wear a small in most brands I have larger chest and that is where I run into issues with jackets .

I am also a 6 in lulu. I have the bomber in a S and the tech fleece in a M. The bomber is generous and fits me like a bomber, not fitted at all (but cute, not huge or anything). The tech fleece would have been too tight through the shoulders on me in a S (so I imagine you might have a similar issue if you have a larger chest). I have a small chest but a bigger rib cage. I’m a 6 in lulu bras mostly, but an 8 is more comfortable in the free to be styles. Hope that helps!

I’m late to the party here (and haven’t tried either of those styles) but I’m glad Carrie was able to chime in. :)

I’m hoping Carbon38 has some kind of promo code soon. I have a pretty full shopping cart there!

It’s too bad they didn’t do any nice promos, but my wallet is grateful. :)

    Wallet equals crash boom bang!!
The Alala sales look so good that I think I can finally justify transatlantic shipping charges :-) Gotta say thanks for all the reviews and everybody’s comments here guys, I wouldn’t have felt confident getting the right sizes otherwise!
    Woohoo!!!

Nice!! I hope the shipping charges are worth it and that everything works out great for you. :) Too bad the blanket jacket didn’t make it into your order, but hopefully the others make up for it. :)

Yay for sales! I’ve been wanting to try the kdeer capris and I’m a 6 in lulu and small in athleta bottoms. What size do you recommend in kdeer? Thanks!

I’m a little bit late here but you could probably wear either a S or M in K-Deer. If you are comfortable with a very snug fit, S will be fine, but for something a little more relaxed you can go up. The only issue with going up is that they might slide a bit if you’re doing something high-impact like running. So for higher-impact stuff, I would stick with a small. Hope that helps a little!

I first saw the Alala Blanket Jacket on your site and fell in love with it but couldn’t afford it. I was super happy to look and see what a crazy deal it was today. I scored the Blanket Jacket, the Draped Vest AND the Neoprene Sweatpants for 160 shipped.

Im doing the happy dance :) Thanks for your fun blog

Holy crap! That’s amazing! Looks like you were just in time, too, because all of those items have disappeared from the website now.

The neoprene sweats went down 30 more dollars the next day during a flash sale so I asked them to adjust the price as my ordered hadn’t shipped yet. They credited back 30 dollars so i got all the items for 130 shipped. If I like the stuff, Id like to buy the fleece trench the next time they have a flash sale.

I had the blanket jacket in poseidon in my cart but then it sold out in my size because I waited too long :(

So sad, but I guess my wallet is happy?

I had this too!!! I was bummed! They sold out pretty fast :(

I love the Poseidon colour though and snagged the fractal tee. I think the captain crops are still available in select sizes. But yep bye bye blanket jacket!!

It’s crazy! I’ve never wanted a jacket this bad before (darn it AA!), but I guess if they keep making it in future, there will be other sales.

The jacket is still available in S, M, & L! I bought one through a website called spring and it gives you free shipping too!

Now I am wondering if I want the neoprene sweatpants too…

OMG I just saw that and bought it in S! I “gave” myself $20 to a different email (I made an account on Spring like last week and have never bought from there before) and scored the jacket for $35!!!

I thought about getting the tech fleece jacket too since it’s a little more practical for PNW weather, but I’m trying to/have to be good :)

The Alala flash sale was everything! I scored a bunch of goodies like the fractan regal tee, bomber jacket and edge tights. Plus, I was lucky enough to snatch the poseidon blanket jacket in XS earlier this weekend. A little disappointed that Carbon38 had nothing but a few styles added to their sale, but glad Alala made up for it :)

Nice! Sounds like a really solid haul. I was also bummed Carbon38 didn’t do much, but I’m trying to save right now, so I guess it was good there wasn’t anything more to tempt me. :)

Gosh Alala was so bad for my wallet this weekend! Didn’t snag the blanket jacket in the end, couldn’t get myself to pay $55 international shipping twice! Oh well but still managed to get 5 pieces that I know I’m going to love and wear to death:-) thank AA;) and Alala!!!

I ended up getting the neoprene sweats, fractal tee, tech fleece jacket and the blanket jacket for right at $300. Which is great considering the fleece jacket is normally $425 and still selling for that price on many other websites! Thanks AA!
