FTBW Price Adjustment + Misc News + What’s In Stores

October 16, 2014 / 6 Comments

News #1: Lulu seems to have finally figured out the FTBW bra price confusion and, surprisingly, they are ruling in favor of the $42 price point.  Many people are starting to get $6 price adjustments from their online orders without having asked for it.  I haven’t gotten mine yet, but if I don’t by tomorrow, some friendly GEC harassment will be happening.

News #2: Reports are coming in that black coco pique wunder under pants are back in stores!

News #3: A friend pointed out that you can see a little peek of some sort of herringbone bra situation in the ravi tee pics:

Maybe later in the winter season we’ll start seeing more of this.  I would be pretty stoked.  Note that this looks like more of a clean black and white–previous years of herringbone are usually some shade of grey with black.

In stores:

Going grape first base tank.  Those kind of look like fuel green WUP, but the patterning on the new ones is horizontal (like the healthy heart PO, see below), not vertical, so I’m wondering if these are actually the older release of coco pique WUs with deceptive lighting.  Edit: apparently at least some of the new fuel green coco pique WUP DO have the vertical pattern, despite the stock pic being horizontal.  Weird. [Lululemon Fashion Place]

Ah, that’s why I didn’t like the fuel green coco pique WUPs enough! I couldn’t put my finger on it. Mine came with the vertical patterning instead of horizontal. It’s strange they would come out with both.

I haven’t heard of anyone’s fuel greens coming in horizontal. Maybe the pair in the stock photo was a sample and the horizontal orientation wasn’t ever put into a full production run? Who knows. I don’t like the vertical orientation or vertical stripes in general at all for some reason.

One of my FTBW bra orders got cancelled. The other one has been *processing* for 2 days. No email and no refund of price difference for me so far.

That scarf looks like the mexican blankets you buy in Tijuana or the tourist souvenir shops in Mazatlan, Ensenada etc. No thanks. I don’t like.

And for $168, it has that much more similarity to a tourist trap, hah. I don’t like it either.

Also, I finally got my price adjustment for one of my orders earlier today. Still waiting for the adjustment on the 2nd order (my accidental duplicate).

The healthy heart pullover is very appealing to me. The reviews say “size down”, but 4 is the smallest size. Why, lulu, why!?

Yes, it seems so silly when they make size down items only down to a 4. Considering 4 is one of the most popular sizes, it excludes a pretty large swath of their customers. Since I wear a 2, I am waaaaaay SOL all the time on these types of products, so I feel your pain. :P
