P.S. The fleecy keen also comes in black, but nobody took pictures of it today apparently.
Small change to this year’s fleecy keen jacket: there is no ruffle detail on the hood and zipper. Here is a pic of the old fleecy keen. They also cut the ruffles on the speed tights, so they seem to be de-ruffling things across the board. Last year, the fleecy keen was $198, but I’m guessing it’s going to be more this year, maybe $228? [Lululemon Suburban Square]

If you have a large bust or shoulders for your size probably a size up. Last year they didn’t come in my size but a size up fit alright. It was a little bulky through the waist though (I have a very narrow waist/rib cage though so your mileage may vary).

Hmmm indeed–thanks for the link! Looks to me like the main difference is that I mostly focus on the reaction gifs whereas this author focused more on the random factoids–the pics she included are mostly just extra. So, slightly different focus (and thankfully she didn’t copy any of my quips/gifs exactly), so I can give her the benefit of the doubt…this time. ;)

I liked the Fleecy Keen last year, but didn’t purchase mostly because I felt the price point was excessive for a fleece jacket. I definitely won’t get it this year if the price is up. The Fleecy Keen also fit strangely – I tried on a friend’s size 6 (we both normally wear a 4 at LLL) and it was oddly loose in the abdomen but tight in the shoulder.
Also, the ruffle (and rose gold zipper on the Inkwell color-way) was too cute! Wonder why they did away with those details.
On the Hong Kong website, the fleecy keen is the same price as the rain runner. Likely $198 unless the adjust for North America.
Hopefully you’re right–as the previous commenter said, $198 was already pretty high.
I agree re: ruffles. I don’t know if it’s a cheap way for them to save a buck or if they thought the ruffles were too juvenile… I also remember that the one I tried last year was disproportionately big through the waist versus the bust/shoulders.
