New blushed illusion run times shorts. Katelin mentioned these would be coming in the comments threads of Britt’s picks, and here they are! It’s probably safe to assume these will be coming in speed shorts also. [Lululemon Trolley Square]
Raspberry glo/heathered slate speed shorts are in US stores. They arrived in Canada stores a couple days ago. [Lululemon Trolley Square]
A solid black vinyasa scarf is now available in stores for those who like to keep it simple. [Lululemon Fashion Place]
Some misc notes:
– Lulu HQ guru Katelin commented in the Britt’s picks thread that the fo drizzle jacket will only be coming in deep navy in black for now.
– She also mentioned the black cherry CRB likely will not upload to the Canada website til March (when we will be seeing more black cherry, she says), despite the early drop in stores.
– The rise and shine jacket will come in mystic jungle, black, and sea mist. This is sea mist on a swiftly.
– More stuff coming according to Katelin: raspberry glo hit your stride skirt, heathered medium grey no sweat pant, and deep navy and black street to studio pants.
– Fabletics is on Hautelook today. Prices are $13-$30. I have not tried Fabletics so I can’t speak on quality or fit, but you can find some archived reviews and thoughts from fellow blogger and lulu-lover Jenn of Running on Lentils. Returns are free if you live near a Nordstrom rack. (P.S. If you’re new to Hautelook, I would be ever-so grateful if you’d use my referral link when you sign up. :) )
– Splits59 restocked some of their new arrivals. Stock appears to be limited again (although I expect more will follow), but I nabbed my coveted devon ii in tidal. Review and comparison to the original devon tank coming soon…

Thanks for the shout out! Quick summary: The Salar Leggings or Lima Capri in solid colors (prints/stripes fabric not as nice) are the best bet at Fabletics.
Not interested in any of those colors in the Rise & Shine. :-(

Agreed on the salar leggings from fabletics. If you’re used to lulu, I wouldn’t bother though, I view them as a cheaper version of athleta with less selection and poorer design. Having said that, I think most of Athleta lately is ho hum and the everyday wear frumpy, so… To each their own though!
Agent Athletica says
Yeah, I read the news about the R&S colors after I read your comment and figured you wouldn’t be super-excited. No bright colors. :(
Marshmallow says
I’m disappointed re the Rise & Shine colors, too. Every release it’s the color choices that stop me from getting it…
Agent Athletica says
Yeah, it’s a real shame. They could’ve done menthol, harbor blue, alberta lake, raspberry glo, vintage pink, etc etc. Missed opportunities…

Do you know if the raspberry glo speeds came in a size 2 for Canada? I’m in US and wondering if there’s hope for us size 2 people :/
Agent Athletica says
Hmm, I forgot to notice if there was a 2 when they uploaded to Canada. I haven’t heard anything one way or another. As a fellow 2, I feel your pain! I’m on the fence about these so I guess if they don’t come in a 2, that makes my decision for me. :

I got some great deals from my local lululemon today. A free to be wild bra for $29 and the white soft shell jacket for $109. I have been waiting for the jacket to be reduced. They actually had the jacket in the storage room not on the floor. I had to ask for it when I couldn’t find it .
Agent Athletica says
Nice scores, especially the jacket! :)

Does anyone have a preference for either 2-way or 4-way speed shorts, and why? I’m wondering why some of the 2-way stretch SS fit me badly :(, and if I should stick to 4-way.
Agent Athletica says
I prefer 4-way, they fit me better. 2-ways tend to gape away from my thighs a bit more, so I like the cleaner silhouette of the 4-way since the softer fabric lays closer to my leg, so I’m less afraid of flashing someone. Also, 4-ways are more comfortable across the bum. Also, the wonky fit issues over the past year seem to have affected the 2-way speeds more than the 4-way, so that may be what you’re experiencing too.
Jane_Doe says
You are right! I”m trying to make the 2-way work, and some prints do gap out more than the others from the thighs. Just laid the 2-ways flat on top of the 4-way, they don’t seem to have extra fabric, but the fabric is stiffer. I guess that’s why they defy gravity and stick out sideways.
