Today I’ve got a double header of treats from you via Sweaty Betty.
I discovered SB a couple years ago and fell in love with their creative designs and high-quality fabrics. They offer a good range of sizes, including a lot of styles in XXS and/or short lengths, which is great for petite ladies like yours truly. I have a pretty decent-sized stash of Sweaty Betty now, and all of it has held up well with use.
First up, Sweaty Betty is offering a discount exclusively for AA readers! Enter AASWEATY20 to score 20% off your order and free shipping.
Please note this code is only valid for the US site. It expires 5/18, so if you’ve got something on your wishlist, don’t wait too long!
My current favorites (aka top recommendations) are the zohra LS and the rock the ramparts power leggings. I just love saturated blues! If you want lots of details on each of these pieces, you can read my review of those and more in my Sweaty Betty review section. I haven’t tried their swimwear yet, but they’ve got some new designs this year that look really nice.
On to part 2 of today’s goodness…
Today’s Sweaty Betty giveaway will have THREE winners! I’m loving these triple winner giveaways–it means your odds of winning are 3x as good! Each winner will get to pick out a pair of Sweaty Betty leggings of your choice. The giveaway is open to entrants worldwide.
To enter, we’ll need your email address first. You’ll need to sign up for both the Sweaty Betty and AA lists to be eligible to win. For today’s giveaway, please also enter which country you’re from so we can get you added to the list most appropriate for where you live and shop.
Remember: even if you’ve already signed up for one or both lists previously, your entry will still count as long as you check the box and click “enter” in the widget. To keep the contest fair, please do not enter using multiple different email addresses. Once you’ve completed the two email list entries and your country, you can earn bonus entries by following SB and AA on Instagram to increase your odds.
The giveaway will close in one week on May 11th at 5p PT. A winner will be contacted ASAP once the giveaway closes.
Good luck!
P.S. Be sure to tune in tomorrow for one more grand finale giveaway! You won’t want to miss it. :)

I would love to hear your thoughts on Nulu vs the new athleta similar fabric Powervita.

Hope you don’t mind me chiming in! I am an Align pant/crop fan who recently found her way to Athleta’s powervita styles. In terms of fabric, I like the powervita fabric better. I feel like there is a little more coverage and I don’t have to treat it super delicately/worry about pilling (although I haven’t had much issues with that on my Aligns). I like the waistband of the Align Crop during folds vs. the powervita Salutation line, but as I love every other feature so much more, I’m ok with it. I appreciate the patterns, sizes ranges, and the prices at Athleta – the solid salutation capris are $69 and Aligns are $88.

I only tried the Powervita once briefly. The crops I tried (mesh salutations) didn’t fit me at all. If I remember correctly the fabric was nice, though I found the opacity to be similar to lulu’s aligns (both were slightly see-through in a bend but not bad). Unfortunately I don’t have a lot else to add on that!

YAY SB discount!!
What a great week this is :)
P.S. AA – I need a “real” daypack (like for long day hikes) and have been trying to track down a post of yours from ages ago where you reviewed your osprey bag and I think another one too?? I can’t find it, can you please direct me??
Any other tips from you or other readers would be great too. Thanks in advance!

I’m obviously not Suzanne, but I did find these posts which maybe are what you meant:

Thanks so much for replying, Christine!
I at least have the name of the Osprey bag now from that Humphrey’s Peak post – sweet!
I could have sworn that AA (a couple years ago??) also had a post talking about the Osprey bag and another bag and their similarities/differences, etc. Maybe I dreamed it.
Anyways, I appreciate your response :)

It’s the Osprey Tempest 9. I never actually did a dedicated review of it (nor my larger Osprey. I actually just found it via the REI garage this week, it’s only $67! https://www.rei.com/rei-garage/product/116330/osprey-tempest-9-pack-womens It’s small but if you’re determine, you can fit a *ton* in it. I tried on several Ospreys in store but this one fit me best–your mileage may vary of course. That said, funny enough, my husband likes it so much that he’ll actually use it if I don’t.

Thank you! Sounds like Osprey is the clear winner from several people I have asked. I may order that one on sale(!!) and then just go to REI if it isn’t perfect and try several on. Appreciate you!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yeah you can’t go wrong with Osprey that’s for sure! I’m tempted to buy the purple one and/or a backup teal. But they have a lifetime guarantee so that might be excessive lol. The only downside is that they only have the XS/S in stock on the garage. They also make a M/L which might work better for you for your long torso. But then, hubs is 5’10” and doesn’t mind it.
carrie says
yeah i just saw that… the tempest 20 comes in the next size up so i might have to order that one. thanks for remembering my long torso :)

I recently got my first Sweaty Betty item, the Ultra run bra, and am really happy with it (which is high praise from a busty gal). I ran in and out of the store just to pick it up, but my eyes were darting around the place the whole time – I was impressed with what I saw in there!
Happy I finally gave the brand a try. I’ve been hesitant to try Sweaty Betty ever since a not-so-great review on mysuperficialendeavors’ blog, which may not reflect the current quality anyway.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Nice! I’d like to try the ultra run bra, but sadly they don’t carry my band size. Glad you’ve had good luck with it. :) I miss mysuperficialendeavors’ reviews, they were always so helpful!

I was at SB store last week. I was amazed!!! Too bad the legging I want has sold out my size. The first thing I did after I got home was to turn on my computer and order it. I can’t wait for the package to come.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Awesome! :) I’m glad you could find your size online, and I hope you love them when they arrive!
