To kick off this week’s blog bday giveaway festivities, I’m starting with one of the OG AA brands: Alala.
Both Alala’s gear and people have supported me for years. I’ve been writing about Alala since I started this blog and it’s been so neat to see their brand grow since drooling over their very first collection years ago. Nowadays, they’re one of the brands I own and wear the most, and it’s been great to get to know them over the years, too. Obviously, it was a “no duh” to do an Alala giveaway this week.
While we’re on the topic, Alala just dropped new products on their site this week! The latest capsule focuses on white, palm print, and palm green–hello Pantone color of the year! The white mesh tank is calling my name since I’m obsessed so with the mesh tank I have in blue tide. I’m thinking the white mesh tank would look so sharp paired with the black/palm green heroine tights. They also just added several new prints and colors to their custom Alala Carte tights.
Speaking of new releases, that’s not all! Just in time for Mothers’ Day, they’ve got a new limited edition lineup of matching leggings for girls: Alala Mini. So if you’re picking up a pair of captain tights for yourself, you can grab a matching pair for your little, too. You can read their Mothers’ Day feature and see the adorable mini captain tights over here.
So basically: if you win the giveaway, you’ll have tons of awesome new stuff to choose from.
If you’re wondering how anything from Alala fits, get the scoop in my archive of Alala reviews here.
If you don’t want to wait to see if you won the giveaway, you can score 15% off full-priced items anytime with code AA15.
(By the way: I’m wearing the seamless layer bra, mesh tank, and heroine tights in these pics. Full review of each in this post.)
Since it’s AA’s 3rd bday, Alala has generously offered THREE prizes, so you’re 3x as likely to win! Each winner will receive a $100 gift card to Alala to put toward whatever you’re loving right now.
To enter the giveaway, use the widget below. You’ll get entered by signing up for both Alala and AA’s email lists–be sure to do both to qualify. Even if you’ve already signed up for one or both lists previously, your entry will still count as long as you check the box and hit “enter” in the widget. To keep the contest fair, please do not enter using multiple different email addresses. Once you’ve completed the two email list entries, you can earn bonus entries by following Alala and AA on Instagram to increase your odds.
The giveaway is open to entrants worldwide and will close a week from now, on May 8th at 5p PT. A winner will be contacted ASAP once the giveaway closes.
Good luck!

It’s early, I haven’t had much coffee, but … I’m confused. :-)
We can do 4 entries for one of the five giveaways, and 1 for all the others? I think that’s how I’m supposed to read it. So since the giveaways don’t close for a week, we can enter once on everything until we know what all of them are… then make the decision about where we want to put more entries?

what I think AA means is you can do the up to 4 individual entries under your name, which will count for one global entry under your name. and you are limited to one global entry per person (aka don’t cheat by using more than one email address for example). your global entry will enter you for each of the three $100 GC prize. it looks to me like there will be 3 draws from all the global entries received (note that some global entries will be in fact 4 entries or 3 or 2 or 1, depending on the tasks each person decided to complete). I myself did all 4, therefore I will have a total of 4 chances to win 3x 1 prize. hope this makes sense, I’m getting confused writing this haha!

Thanks shavarama! But nope, still don’t get it. Ha!

You can enter only once for this one giveaway. This giveaway will have 3 winners. You can enter your name 1-4 times for this name draw depending on which of the items you choose to do. Just your name and email = 1 chance so your name is entered 1x. If you do all 4 your name will be in there 4x. You can only do this one time, you can’t keep entering your name increasing your chances of winning.

Ack, sorry for the confusion. Shavarma and anonymous are correct. I rewrote the wording in the post to hopefully prevent more confusion. The short version is that if the widget says 4/4 at the top, your name is in “the hat” 4 times, and you’ve done everything to maximize your odds. :) I hope that helps, let me know if you’re still confused.

Basically, it’s like you’re buying raffle tickets. You can “buy” up to four tickets by signing up for email lists and following them on Instagram.

I’m confused too…. need clarification please… and coffee ?
But aside from all that… thank you AA and Alala!!!!!!!!!

I rewrote that section of the post, hopefully it helps! Basically, just get the widget to say 4/4 across the top and you’ve maximized your odds. :)

Congratulations on this big milestone! I have been reading since the beginning, and I have enjoyed the content you have developed over the years. Cheers!

Thanks so much Shannon. So glad you’ve stuck around through all the ups and downs. :)

Ooh so fun! I just placed my first order with Alala — ordered the flyback tank to try!

I’d love to hear what you think of the flyback tank! I’ve been really curious to try it out.
jennifer says
i love it!… although the top keyhole detail is lost in real life, the fabric just closes together. But it has a flattering cut, and the fabric is super soft, and i love that it exposes the color of the bra in the back and armpits. I wish it came in other colors besides white — like that stunning blue Alala has in other items.
jennifer says
the keyhole detail in the back, I mean.

Thanks for your thoughts! Sounds like it might be worth a try. That said I just bought the white mesh tank so I don’t know if they’re too similar, haha. They also have a black version but I’m not sure whether that counts as other colors. :)
