Britt’s picks is up early again because of the new year holidays. Some potentially intriguing stuff coming our way:
Reflective gear is coming again. New reflective speed tights are already around, and now the let’s get visible hoodie and vest are coming our way too. The vest looks like pretty purple, and the hoodie looks like it might be inkwell, *maybe* alberta lake.
New runaway jacket in a new print. It kind of looks like a cross between the new pebble print and rocky road. It has reflectivity plus the glyde fabric, which will make a nice jacket to transition into rainy, dark spring runs.
A late addition to the fluffed up lineup: this vest looks like split pea.
The stash it crops are already in Australia but will be coming to North America.
I swear I’ve seen the dream rose deep coal CRB before, but can’t recall where. Pretty, but it will probably be that polyester blend that gets white when stretched.
Wunder under pants are coming in dark wren, an older color that’s making a comeback. There was a rain jacket a few weeks ago in the UK that came in wren. This is a little too earthy for my color palette, but a nice change of pace.
Run times shorts coming in pebble print might mean speeds and/or trackers will show up in that print as well.
The in a flash bra is coming in animal swirl deep coal. Animal swirl is shaping up to be a big print these few weeks.
The essence tank is new, kind of like a high-necked alternative to the 105F singlet. Looks like caspian blue.
Lastly, high times pants in a new color, dark cherry. This color is very pretty. I can think of quite a few things that would be amazing in this color–stress less hoodie, anytime dress, scuba, CRB… Oh myyyyy.
Happy New Year!! Mine was filled with cakes, champagne, giggly friends and a partial view of faraway fireworks. Sugar is always a good idea to start the new year! January will then be full of calorie guilt and crazy workouts. Totally worth it.
Oooh.. a few things I’m excited about. The Essence tank looks promising.
Dark Wren and Dark Cherry are great alternatives to plain black. Can’t wait! In fact, dark cherry reminds me of Chanel’s Vamp nail polish, super dark classy. Didn’t expect Spring to start off with such dark shades but seriously, love love love!
Happy New Year to you too! Mine was a very snowy one, about 12 or 13″ to be exact. :) I didn’t expect to see such a dark color either, but it’s fine by me! Last year around this time they were putting out lavender, petal pop, and fresh teal, so maybe the feedback there was that the pastels were too much too soon. That stuff did NOT sell well, so I guess it’s good they’re changing their January tune this year.

Fyi the dream rose CRB is solid gray with black printed on it–so the grin is not so noticeable as with some like the beach scape print. :D

I love the look of Dark Cherry! I really like the High Times, but I find the solid colours somewhat sheer (and I don’t need to size up). I returned the Inkwell for that reason and I’m still debating whether I’ll keep the black. I prefer the textured fabrics (love Herringbone, Coco Pique and the Diamond Jacquard Roll Down WU) for that reason.
I agree, the textured fabrics are 100x better for opacity! Hopefully these will be nice and opaque, but it could really go either way…
love my fluffed up vest! scored the boom juice one today, that seemed to be a one-off random re-stock online… in my size, ftw! showed as sold out after I checked out. hope I get shipping confirmation tomorrow… it’s happened before where I’ve received check out confirmation only to later get told it was a mistake, it’s sold out. hope more than the ?split pea color gets uploaded next week.
Fingers crossed for your vest! Boom juice was really nice in the vest. I bet the new reflective one will come in the same color as the hoodie, although I’m not sure if you’d consider that less repulsive. :)
I have an aversion to babies and pastels remind me of babies. :) so Alberta lake is tolerable vs that pastel pink-purple! ha.
I’ve wanted a reflective vest but that one lulu put out a month or so ago is no good. it looks like it’s just waiting to be decorated for an ugly xmas vest party!
Bahaha, I too have a strong aversion to babies and pastels. :) I also agree the previous vest was shapeless and fug.
also, hope that reflective vest comes in a less repulsive color(s)!!
