Like we saw in the UK this week, the movement jacket in atomic flower silver spoon will be coming to North America. Blah.
Also another lightweight running top, the turn it up LS. More blah.
The run away tee is back in more colors. Pretty sure the orange is a new shade called duck sauce.
Yes. Duck sauce. I’m 100% serious.
More new run staples: animal swirl inspire tights and textured wave print speed tights.
The mesh with me crops, first seen in Australia, will be in North America. Not sure if it’ll come in the Australian colors, too. Animal swirl embossed black is pictured.
The studio racerback looks like it might be a redux of the refresh racer. It says it has thin straps and a wider racerback, so I’m not sure how this iteration will be different.
The race with grace 1/2 zip, which first appeared last January, is back for another round in the new “duck sauce” orange. Seriously lulu WTF is up with duck sauce.
More atomic floral in atomic red via the new namaskar hoodie.
The namaskar pants are already up in the US but will be in Canada too next week.
The spring fling puffy windbreaker is another thing from last winter that will be re-appearing. Looks like oil slick camo will start trickling to North America.
The yogi muscle tee is another thing in Australia and is another giant meh. (Edit: there’s one color of this already in the US.)
The take 2 bra is a new reversible bra that looks like it has some ability to adjust the band tightness. This would be nice for those of us with small bands and fuller busts except that the white lower band is kind of ugly.
Another FTBW color coming: the prism petal print that’s in the UK. I think the straps are duck sauce but they might be atomic red. I really hate the prism petal print. Almost as much as I hate the name “duck sauce”.

Exactly. I tired to come up with a couple items for my Christmas list, but nothing is appealing right now. I do like the yogi crew sweater, but it’s way over priced in my opinion. And the base runner pants seem to have a major quality issue with the waist band. Like AA, I will pass on all this stuff.

Mostly because everything Lulu has put out has been more than fug. There are no other words to use for their seemingly horrible design team and lack of decent buyers for the North American market (Aussie seems to have a better handle with last years pigment colored items and their pretty summer stuff full of color).
I actually enjoy reading AA more because she says what i’m thinking about all the new fugly stuff! I find it hilarious. You don’t like? Don’t read anymore.
It can be pretty tough to find a tone that blends honesty, witty jabs, and a little diplomacy. I’m certain I don’t always get it right–I’m only human, after all, and blogging (especially at such a high volume) isn’t always easy. Plus, as we all know, things don’t always come across on the internet how you intended! Sorry this one was a miss for you.

Agreed. Slightly more orange tones and obviously smaller flowers, but definitely similar.

Yeah, I appreciate the concept (like AA said), but I’m not sold off on the design. I have a large chest and small rib cage. I loooove VSX Angel bras…plus I can get them on sale for like $25.

Oooh. I forgot to tell you…if you thought you missed out on the nasty black seams on the Herringbone WUP, try Ivivva’s white pique….looooved them. They were super soft but stretchy though….usually a Lulu 6 is like a Ivivva 14, but I would say my Ivivva 14 was closer to a 7. They were loose, but perfect for lounging around….not to mention so much cheaper.
I saw those! I was tempted by them at first but I think I’m going to have to pass. The light color might be too long-underwear-looking, plus I already have a couple pairs of neutral pants. :
I thought I remembered the yogi muscle tee in North America, but I didn’t check. It’s so hard to keep track sometimes, everything from all the countries gets really jumbled together sometimes. :P

Call me crazy but I actually like the Namaskar hoodie in “duck sauce” (lol). It looks feminine enough to wear with jeans or yoga pants. I don’t like scubas because I don’t find them “pretty” enough to wear with jeans…I’m interested in this one.
Hoping the Race With Grace 1/2 Zip comes out in white again. I missed it last year, and I’m kicking myself over it. I really liked the fit and think white would be a great staple.
I think the hoodie is actually atomic red, it’s not as orange as the race with grace.

Yeah I’m assuming that’s the inspiration, duck sauce is kind of orangey??? I mean, it’s more gold to me, but…details. :P
Nothing appeals to me on Britt’s picks, but it is promising to see brighter colors coming (even if they do have really weird names – I didn’t get ‘boom juice’ either but love the color). I was browsing the LLL site yesterday and couldn’t help but notice how one-note the color scheme is right now, particularly the tops. However, I just received the 50 Rep in flash light – LOVE. Hope we see more of this and other bright colors soon! Thanks as always for your blog, AA! Love it and read daily.
Typically during the holidays they do almost exclusively a neutral palette, but January is generally when things start to ease back into spring stuff, which usually means bright colors. :)
Frankly, I dislike almost everything LLM post-sashico and inky bloom. :D I still can’t stop talking about sashico. Sorry.
BUT my next MUST HAVE item is … Stained Glass Love White Pow Pink Light/Menthol FTB. And a restless pullover before they sell out, even at the horrible price of $84. Argh.

Don’t worry, my selectiveness is here to stay. :) I was pretty lukewarm about sashico, but inky was a definite winner this year. I’m starting to get excited about stained glass love pow pink/menthol though.
