I’ve talked before about my love for the newbie premium activewear brand Alala, and now that their fall collection is out in full force, my lust over their stuff is still very much a thing. I’ve noticed that a number of their winning items have been selling out at an impressive rate for such a young brand, which seems to indicate that this brand has promise. They’re running a giveaway right now (see bottom of the post), so that seemed as good of an excuse as any to highlight my favorites from their fall line.

One of their fall colors is eclipse, which reminds me a bit of black grape, but a little more subtle. I love the delicate styling of the cut bra above, and I can always appreciate a solid wide band around the ribcage. This would look fantastic under open-back sweaters like lulu’s unity pullover.
Cobalt is Alala’s other main color for fall. I love cobalt blue anything, and theirs is no exception. The zip it up bra is an interesting concept: it’s a high support bra with a zipper in the back. The idea is that the zipper makes it easier to get it on and off without a wrestling match. The mesh back is a clever addition, since high-support bras can sometimes be bulky and hot.
(Note: I don’t believe there are slots for cups in their bras. If this is a dealbreaker for you, take note. As a cup-lover myself, I would probably end up sewing some in myself, although that’s less than ideal.)
This map print is another addition for fall, keeping things neutral but still interesting. This atlas long sleeve looks nice and cozy for cold winter workouts. I would love this with brights and jewel tones, like my hot pink Splits59 crops or lulu’s bordeaux drama.
Heathered grey also makes a few appearances in their fall collection, like this oversized fractal tee. This has been a hot seller with only XS left (you might be able to size down), although black is still in stock in all sizes. The oversized look is usually off-limits for me because it tends to overwhelm my petite frame, but I can dream.
My biggest want right now is the sophisticate jacket. The body is neoprene with fleece sleeves, and the drape on this thing looks so fantastic. Everything about this fits perfectly with my personal style–it’s practically screaming at me to wear it. At $210, it’s definitely the most expensive item of their collection, but one way or another, I need to find a way to give the all-black version a try.
Speaking of neoprene, the supernova sweater is an all-neoprene pullover with mesh details and a gold side zipper. I’m still undecided how I feel about the wide mesh here, but since it’s used as trim in a few of their items, I would be remiss if I didn’t include it. I think I like it best when it’s especially subtle, like in the trim on the tech fleece beanie.
Moving on to bottoms, the map print shows up on their shorter crop, the take sides knee tight. Their crops are made of slick fabric like lulu’s luxtreme, so these will hold up well for cycling and running. And of course, the mesh panels add interest and flattery.
(Another hot seller, currently only XS is in stock on Alala’s site, but S and L are available via Carbon38.)
I already have and love my captain crops in cobalt, but I want another pair in eclipse in the WORST way. Nothing to add here.
I don’t really know why, but something about these fast track pants are calling to me. I don’t always feel like wearing tights–sometimes a girl just wants to put on some loose-ish pants with a tank and a beanie, and have a baller lifting session while blasting Lil Wayne. …Just me?? Anyway, these are a nice option for something a little more relaxed without sacrificing style.

I love the track pants, but worry about the fit. AA, please do a review if you ever get your hands on any of these pieces. TIA!
