This week’s Britt’s picks:
– The reflective gear we’ve seen bits and pieces of on foreign sites will finally make it to North America. I think it was like 3 weeks ago that the reflective speeds were in Asia Pacific? Anyway, I have no need for the reflective stuff and I expect it will be mad expensive to boot, but it’s clearly practical for lots of other people.
– The swiftly 1/2 zip will be coming to North America. This is another thing that’s been overseas–Europe has had this for a couple of weeks now.
– Mentioned in the text, Canada will get the out of this world items in stores next week.
– Finally, the flaming tomato diamond jacquard space dye wunder under crops will be out in full(er) force.
– Wrap it up sweaters will be uploaded to the US side.
– And finally, more journey crops, although some of those have arrived already.
Also, unrelated to Britt’s picks, someone pointed out that the go the distance shorts are out in black grape camo manifesto script:
Hmmm, what else will we see this colorway on? Again, I wish there was just the textured camo and not the script, but it’s still pretty!

The swiftly 1/2 zip was uploaded on Tuesday.
I’m excited for the reflective stuff though. The speeds will probably be the most affordable piece, so I’ll probably get those.

I bet the skirt and bra will also be on the lower end of things. And the speeds are going to be much more than the usual $54 price tag unfortunately, but not sure exactly how much.

The half zip swiftly tops were uploaded to the US this past Tuesday. Still waiting for them to hit stores though.
AgentAthletica says
Yeah, that’s probably what she meant when she posted them, that they’d be in stores. Kind of like how the wrap it up sweater is basically old news by now but is still on there…

I got the Go the Distance shorts in the purple manifesto (they showed up yesterday), and I LOVE this print. It’s weird, because I hate both camo and manifesto and don’t own a single one of either. But the two together form this swirly abstract pattern that doesn’t look like either one to me, and from about a foot away, you can’t even tell there’s writing, it just looks like abstract art. To my surprise this is one of my favorite lulu prints ever.
AgentAthletica says
I think I love the print too. If it comes on speeds, I’m gonna be super-tempted! I like it a lot better than the fuel green camo manifesto.

I love this color and print too! The SS would be quite irresistible.

According to a review on the HK site of the reflective speeds, there are no waistband pockets like the usual speed shorts, just the back zip. The description clearly mentions all the usual pockets, but there are no pics that show them and in the one close-up it looks like it’s pocketless on the front…without 3, there is no way I would consider paying a jacked up price for them.
AgentAthletica says
Really? Dang lulu, that’s harsh. I agree it’s crazy that they’re asking a jacked up price AND taking away some core features. Yeeesh.
