The mesh on the WUCs here reminds me of the mesh on the Alala crops. Mine actually came with a little hole/tear in the mesh on one leg. I loved them aside from that… I thought they felt really nice on. Too bad.
I had the same thought. It’s a similar style, but the mesh placement is definitely a different shape. That’s too bad indeed that yours had a little hole in them. Boo. :( Better luck next time I guess…
I know! I’ll get over it. Pretty color though! And yeah it seems like lulu is playing with a similar style, I didn’t mean it was an actual copy or anything.
I agree it’s definitely not a copy, especially since lulu has the laser situation going on.
Athleta came out with laser cuts in their crops a while back…. seems they’re taking “inspiration” from other brands.
Yeah, I don’t know that I’d put that past them. That, or they’re both taking cues from the same place (kind of like multiple brands following the pantone seasonal colors).
