I’m traveling which means I was able to get into a store today and try on some new stuff–woohoo! It’s not the biggest or most exciting week in terms of new stuff, but here’s quick fit review of the new black/angel wing speed shorts, up the pace crops, stuff your bra tank, and runsie.
Fit review: speed shorts in black/angel wing/quilt
These new speeds are 4-way stretch. I’m wearing them in my usual size (2) and I found them to be pretty true to size (although that means they’re a little tight on me, as some of you may have noticed). Unfortunately, the trim is angel wing, which means it’s sort of an ivory/cream color and not a true white. This is a lot harder to match if you ask me, so I was kind of bummed by that. This particular pair was definitely quite long (I was already wearing some speed shorts I could use to compare), but this varies pair to pair so your mileage may vary. These stayed at the store.
Fit review: stuff your bra tank in cadet blue steep stripe
This tank (both the style in general and the color) were a lot cuter on than I was expecting. The white panels are a bit see through, as you might expect. It fit well through the middle but wasn’t sausage-y tight, and it wasn’t insanely long on my 5’3″ frame either. My gripe about this one is the straps in the back: they meet the body of the tank very far apart, which means the straps cross exactly across my shoulder blades. This drives me crazy! I don’t want to feel such bulky straps getting pushed around every time I move my shoulder girdle. Not sure if this issue is unique to my build, but there you go.
Fit review: up the pace crops in black/bleached coral
The up the pace crops were nice, albeit not incredibly exciting. They’re full-on luxtreme and they passed the squat test–not sheer at all. The rise is medium, about like inspire crops or wunder unders. They fit nicely through the leg, not baggy anywhere. Nice basic crops but, again, nothing to write home about in terms of styling.
Fit review: runsie in flowabunga angel wing
And then there’s this.
I’m wearing a size 4, which is a size up for me but the smallest they had available (pro tip: don’t size up, hah!). I pretty much just tried this on for fun–there was nothing flattering about it for me at all. It basically destroyed any evidence of boobs or a waist, and put a long crotch in place. But I had a good laugh. :)

Haha! Hilarious onesie commentary.
Loved the fit reviews! It gives me my fix without having to go to the store myself hehe (at least this week!). I look forward to more. Enjoy your travels!

Thanks! :) There was so little happening this week that unless something new comes along, it’s not really worth the trip, sadly. (Well, it’s a good thing for me! Gotta save $$ so I’m hoping they keep putting out stuff that doesn’t thrill me…)
