We had some family visiting recently, so we went to a lot of neat local places. One of them was to take the ski lift up an off-season slope, all the way to 11,500 ft. I dramatically underestimated just how cold it would be up there–I’m pretty much freezing in this picture.

Next stop: the painted desert. It was hella windy and the sun made an interesting burn pattern thanks to my v-neck–hah! Also: I love bali breeze with bruised berry–aka BB with BB, heh.

Back to the regular business. I went to CrossFit for a WOD that demonstrated quite poignantly just how long it had been since I had done any real snatch work. Ouch. (FYI: I swear I didn’t wear the UV swiftly 2 days in a row, there were a few days between this and the last pic, k.) Anyway, I LOVE the shiny lamé panel on these Splits59 ginger tights. And I especially love the fact that they’re >1.5 years old and don’t have the faintest signs of pilling.

This morning I took my dogs on a short hike in town. Their short little legs and dense coat did them no favors so they weren’t exactly running up ahead, but they were troopers and have rewarded themselves by sleeping the rest of the day. It was a little chilly and windy this AM–glad I grabbed my scuba!
I am loving the speed pics so keep those OOTDs coming.
