It’s here! Black Friday is upon us! As per usual, I’ve got a roundup of what’s on sale in the active fashion world. This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of *all* active fashion brands and retailers. Mostly, I’m focusing on the ones I’ve talked about on this site. If you have a sale you think other readers shouldn’t miss, feel free to drop it in the comments!
I will update this list at least daily (if not more often) now through Monday with changes to deals and any pertinent additions.
Note that some of these deals are final sale. Be sure you read the fine print before you order!
By the way, if you want a good pre-shopping read, Lee of Style Bee wrote a great post (with printable lists!) on how to thoughtfully navigate sale season.

Little extras
Besides my love of activewear, I have a low-key obsession with modern, feminine ceramics. My favorites are running sales worth considering this weekend.
Suite One Studio is my all-time favorite brand for swoon-worthy tableware. I met Lindsay at an artisan fair in NC shortly before Suite One totally blew up. In the years since, I’ve amassed a pretty significant collection of her gorgeous wares and I stalk her Tuesday night restocks religiously. This weekend, she’s offering $12 off her candle + white and gold ring dish gift set. I love my ring dishes, and it just so happens that they’re the perfect size for serving up cupcakes. ;) Use code SMALLLOVE.
You can also get Suite One’s more modestly priced Anthropologie collab collection for 30% off this weekend! I already have the pink platter and nesting nut bowls–I love the nut bowls for portioning out a little snack after work. This weekend, I’m scooping up the bath collection I’ve had my eye on for months.
My other favorite ceramics brand is Honeycomb Studio, who make a variety of beautiful bottles that I have scattered all over my house. I love putting a lone bloom or tuft of greenery in my apothecary bottles. Get 15% off all weekend long code SHOPSMALL17.
Besides being beautiful for your own home, these ceramics make absolutely delightful gifts.

So bummed, I waited too long to pull the trigger on a pair of Werkshop leggings and now they’re sold out in my size. But excited to try a few of their other designs. Alala’s BF sale is always so good! I’m glad I was patient and waited for that one.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Oh no! :( They’re offering 10% off gift cards, so you could buy yourself a gift card now and then redeem it once they’re back in stock. Not quite as good as 20%, but it’d still save you a few bucks.
Laura says
Thanks! They actually set up a pre-order for both pairs I wanted, so they’ll get here eventually. In the meantime I’m excited to try the Moon and Butterflies prints.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Oh good! I wasn’t sure if they did preorders, so I’m glad there was a happy ending. :)
WA says
Does anyone have experience with Werkshop’s black leggings? She mentioned on instagram maybe that they run bigger than the printed leggings by about a half-size. But I’m a perfect S in Werkshop, so I don’t really know which way to go….

ShopSculptique.com 25% off

Ohhh I’ve never shopped there, but they have loads of brands. Thanks for the tip–I’m adding that one to the list. :)

That Carbon38 sale is so tempting, but I’m trying not to buy activewear because I’m eying a Liforme mat. They’re 20% off, which isn’t a whole lot, but they hardly ever do sales and are usually $140.
Teeki is 60% off, code: wildone
Mika Yoga Wear is 30% off, code: BF17
Also, I won that Varley giftcard from your blog birthday a while ago and still need to use it!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
The mat sounds like a good use of $$ to me! :) It’s always good to take advantage of rare sales like that if you’re planning on buying anyway. And yes, definitely give Varley a shot! :)

There are few more stores that have great sales I forgot to mention:
1) My Inner Fire: 20% off
2) Brazil Wear: 40% off
3) hpe: 40% off
4) Niyama Sol: 30% off
5) Liquido: up to 70% off excludes new items
6) SimplyWorkout: 30% off
7) The SweatBar: 25 % off
8) Nux: 20% off sitewide, extra 40% off sale items
I don’t want to count how many pairs of leggings I’ve bought in the last two days LOL
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Nicely researched, thanks! I hope your leggings haul includes some fantastic ones! :)
yoginiscloset says
Thanks:) Ordered some of the brands that I’ve been in my wish list.

I had fun today but now I’m kinda ready for the sales hysteria to end. I find it disturbing when I catch myself spinning my wheels for too long about whether or not to buy a certain thing. I start to feel like an over-privileged lunatic that needs to be slapped.
Very excited for my Sweaty Betty, Alala, and Anthro purchases to come!
Would have been K-Deer too, but I added 3 different things to my cart (all of which were on the Black Friday page on their website, and none of which were the signature stripes) and NONE of them were discounted at all even though it said “code successfully applied.” On a day like today with so many options, I have zero patience for such things!
Did you acquire any fun things AA?
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Oh yeah, it can definitely get outta control pretty fast. We just returned from Kauai yesterday morning on a red-eye (survived Kalalau, including Crawler’s Ledge, ahh!! it wasn’t too bad actually), so I haven’t really had the energy to get too spun up about sales, haha.
So far the only activewear-ish purchase I’ve made is Athleta’s luxe stronger hoodie, which I’ve been meaning to buy for weeks. I’m considering the bowery hoodie via Bandier because it looks like a good upgrade to my current gross (ahem) dog snuggling hoodie. But even with the discount, $120 is kiiiind of a lot for a lounging hoodie…
Besides that, I bought a couple household goods, like FINALLY a new mattress (major ouch on the wallet), which was WAY overdue considering hubs and I have been sleeping on a full for 4 years. Sheesh.
carrie says
when you consider the amount of hours you will spend in a lounging hoodie compared to other clothing items, it’s kind of a bargain ;)
YAY for kalalau and your first backpacking trip!!!!
Our next Kauai trip is in February. No Kalalau with a toddler, but sand castles and the botanical garden mini golf in Kilauea are also a good time. LOL.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
The small group in the campsite next to us on Kalalau Beach had a toddler (2?) and a baby (crawling). No lie. I have no living clue how they worked that one out.

shut TF up!
no way dude.

Totally thought I had that one in there! It is now. :)

Hey All,
Any suggestions for some smooth faced/”slick” leggings to wear under dresses (i.e.: that will not cling to the dress, like LLL’s Luon)? (I may have to just buy tights but to be honest, am trying to “hit two birds w/ one stone” ;)
Am currently eyeing Athleta’s Shine Chaturanga Tight but…..
AA: I read your fabric guide – which is excellent! Thank you for taking the time to explain all things stretchy :D Since that article is now a year (or 2?) old, I am wondering if there are some current suggestions of brands/styles.
I did not plan for the sale bonanza AT ALL, so any thoughts will be much appreciated!
Sara says
PS: Please remind me, Werkshop is a “size up” legging?
Are the solid colors made of slick-ish fabric too?
Thanks again!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
If I’m not too late…
Werkshop is size up if you’re in between sizes or if you don’t like a lot of compression. Otherwise your regular size should work. I’m not sure if their solids are the same slick material or not.
In general, any shine material shouldn’t be cottony or static-prone, so those are pretty safe bets. Carbon38’s takara leggings are another example of a nice shine legging–they seem to be quite popular, though I haven’t tried them personally. Most of the materials I know for sure are slick and silky are prints, which might not be what you’re looking for. All of Michi’s materials are slick, but they’re quite pricey. I know Varley’s leggings are slick for their printed materials, but again, not 100% certain if they use that type of material on their solids as well, though I *think* they do. Anyway, not sure that’s particularly helpful, but maybe a start. :)
Sara says
Thanks for the sizing reminder on Werkshop :)
You’re not kidding about Michi being pricey. Yikes!
Will check out Carbon38 & Varley next.
Thank you!
carrie says
Hey Sara,
The solid leggings at Werkshop are not quite as slippery as the prints, but they are not “cottony” either. Also – I would say they run a full size bigger than the printed ones (and their customer service says so too). I’m a S or M is most brands (6 in lulu) and the M werkshop solid color were too big (like wrinkly knees and hips too big), while the size L in the printed ones fit me just fine.
Michi is expensive but has super good sales. At their spring sale last year I bought 4 pairs for $190… so perhaps sign up for emails and keep an eye out :)
Sara says
Ooo, will definitely sign up for Michi, thank you! Also for the info on solid Werkshop :)
WA says
I just asked about this above – sizing of Werkshop’s solids. You’re the best, Carrie.
Sara: In my experience, Michi runs big (I’m an XS/S and in Michi the XS isn’t very tight). K-deers are super slick and a bit like tights-material, so I very highly recommend them for your purposes.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Omg, I can’t believe I didn’t include K-Deer in this list! I wear them with dresses all the time so I absolutely reiterate WA’s suggestion. :)
Lauren says
Niyama has some interesting artwork on their leggings. 30% off code OnceAYearBFCM
