SeaWheeze weekend is in full swing! The SeaWheeze store opened up early this morning for runners and other shoppers to get their paws on some lululemon goodies exclusively available at SW this weekend.
A lot of this year’s styles were very similar to last years, just different prints. There were only a handful of prints this year: stripes, squiggles, the confetti/bacteria/pill shape, plus the oh-so-divisive beetle print.
Speeds haul plus a really cute squiggle stuff your bra. [Thanks to Agent A #1]
What the sport singlets made their SeaWheeze debut this year. You’re also looking at a lightened up singlet and a white/grey squiggle textured swiftly. Also, quite a few version of striped inspires showed up too. [Thanks to Agent E for this one]
Cool racerbacks in prints/stripes and more bug things. [Thanks to Agent S for these]
And a couple more scuba hoodies in squiggles and stripes. [Thanks to Agent S again for these]
Another nice haul, showing some more speeds, another stuff your bra, a green cool racerback (probably one of the best items of the bunch imo), and a tuck and flow long sleeve. [Thanks to Agent A #2]
Lastly, quite a few more speed shorts pics. Lulu always seems to like to do franken-speeds (different pattern on both legs) at SeaWheeze, but I’ve never quite understood the appeal, personally. A few people also noted that there were no plaid speeds this year, which have been a SW tradition for years. I assume this is because lulu has phased out the 2-way stretch fabric, and plaids are *always* 2-way. [Thanks to Agent A #2 again for these pics]
For more SeaWheeze, check out Lulu and the Box’s Instagram roundup, or head on to the infamous, inevitable barrage of eBay listings to see lots more styles.
Good luck to anyone running tomorrow!!!

Everything seems to be pretty blah IMO . Kinda juvenile . Although I understand if somebody wants to get something just to have a sea wheeze item
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yeah, I pretty much feel the same way. Fun if it’s tied to a nice memory, but not appealing to me on its own.
Sara says
I’ve been waiting for more stuff your bras. And the striped inspires that have been oversees. Hope this means the stores might get similar products.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
I’m wondering if the mini pop stripe inspires are the mainstream counterparts: http://shop.lululemon.com/products/clothes-accessories/crops-run/Run-Inspire-Crop-II-Luxtreme-No-Mesh?cc=20343&skuId=3634487&catId=crops-run

Squee!!!!! I am feeling the SeaWheeze excitement from the other side of the continent! I really hope I can get in next year! I love ALL this SW gear. So jealous. And, I just placed my very first eBay bid ever on the beetle trackers. I hate to support the eBay resellers, but I really want them!!!! I doubt I’ll get them though since the price was store price & not the jacked up price other sellers are charging.
shavarama says
prices on eBay are always pretty steep imo. try the FB groups ;)
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
I hope you can land a pair! :)
Jenn @ Running on Lentils says
Eh, I gave up. Maybe someone will tire of them in a year or so and I can get them for a decent price then.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Aw, ok. And if you still like them then, then it’s surely meant to be. :)
Alex says
Colors are vivid but those designs are so tacky and juvenile. They’re almost unisex, there’s nothing very feminine about them, which is okay for some things, but I would’ve hoped they’d balance the collection a little more.
Michelle says
I totally agree! The colours are beautiful but beetles and confetti sprinkles are for tweens.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
All very true. Last year had quite a few more feminine colors and prints.
shavarama says
so glad you posted about the WTSS! i read somewhere others mentioning the lack of monochromatic tanks to match the patterns shorts and crops. i guess LLL decided to make only one monochromatic CRB (the green one) and since ppl don’t like the WTSS, no one posted about them on the FB groups so i was like, yeah, WTH LLL, patterns can’t match with patterns lol. but bad move LLL, i don’t like the WTSS either.
ohhh imagine the frenzy if it would have been the 105 F singlet instead!!! crazyyyyyyyyy :D
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Haha so true, too many patterns and not many solids!
Samantha says
Love the black/white speeds and the green crb. That would be such a cute look together. Typically I like the inspires (LOVED last year’s SW inspires), but this year they have the awful mesh on the back, which doesn’t look right when the fabric is a pattern.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yeah I agree the mesh is pretty jarring next to a print. I saw a couple pics of them being worn that still looked cute, but not something I would personally go out of my way for.
Monica says
Nothing appeals to me and I don’t like green so the CRB is a pass. The pill/germ speeds really look like my old pyjamas. Good for my wallet though.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Good for mine too! Dodged a bullet.
h|c says
these aren’t even accidental-retro-hipster-cool prints. it’s all just ugly. ??
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Yeah, not for me either.
RanSeawheeze says
There was no mesh in the swiftly. It’s just a double color print of white/gray. There was also a black/white striped scuba, a gray confetti scuba, a blue, pink and orange ss swiftly, a blue, green and white swiftly tank. They had long sleeve swiftly’s but I don’t wear those so didn’t even look. There was a pretty black/white run stuff bra. I didn’t like the bug speeds initially but once on they really do look cute and from a distance the colors really look striking.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Ohhh thanks for the clarification! I agree, the colors are really nice on the bugs.

Hey hey! Been living a bit under a rock this weekend. Thanks for the link love <3

Of course! :)
