Wow, it’s gonna be a big week in lulu-land! On this week’s what we love, Katelin spilled the beans that the Wanderlust 2015 capsule collection will be uploaded to the website! Along with that, the dance to yoga capsule (which I went over in this week’s international upload post) will be dropping as well. This week, there are no notes that any of this stuff is country-specific, so all of what you see here should be showing up in both US and Canada.
Ahh finally the real name of the butterfly Wanderlust print–it’s called winged mosaic. Besides the highest times, the nook tank and shala bra will be uploaded.
The casbah kimono and diversity bag were also products that dropped in select stores these past couple months. Also, another name reveal: the feather print is, appropriately enough, painted feathers.
If you want to get your hands on the winged mosaic bag, you’ll have to be speedy. These have been selling like hotcakes in stores. Also, in these pics, the model is wearing a romper. At the WL festivals themselves, there were a couple products sold there that were not available in stores, including a romper (along with a handful of other things). I wonder if these other products will be uploaded too, or just what’s shown here/what was in stores?
Moving on from Wanderlust, here’s some more pics of the dance to yoga capsule coming.
In black, the dance to yoga pants remind me quite a bit of my rolldown sweats from Alala.
Lastly, we’ll be seeing the pretty plume in earnest, including these dance to yoga edition high times. I suspect that the pretty plume rolldown WUP will be uploaded Tuesday also, since they go along with both the color story and the theme of this whole drop, so be at the ready if you’re wishing for those! Of course, things often get delayed so my suspicion could be wrong. :)
Thankfully, NONE of the WL items interest me. I do like the pretty plum WUP, so I may pick up a pair of those and the matching Flow Y bra. I will ready on Tues!
Thankfully my wallet is safe from WL too! Good luck grabbing the WUP, assuming they make an appearance. :)
If anyone really cares about the bag (and misses out on the upload), I have it and have realized that I won’t use it often enough to justify keeping it… (it’s gorgeous, but I recognize that I went slightly crazy over that print and there’s only so much of it that I actually need!) I paid $98 + CA tax at WL Squaw Valley last weekend. Hang tag was never attached (it’s in front pocket, and the little inside-bag is still attached by the plastic tag-thing).
They had a TON of stuff at the d’Om store. WUs in the winged mosaic print and the dark butterfly one (I bought both – having the winged mosiac ones cropped to WUC length and still have to make up my mind on the darker ones); a wrap/scarf thing in navy/blue ombre; tons of cute men’s t-shirts; long and short rompers; slogan-printed flip-your-dog type shirts… and the tote bags with purchase were super-cute! The store was absolutely heaving – unsurprisingly -and the entire event was jam-packed with Lulu-wearing beauties! Such a fun event :)

Not gonna lie – I love that Winged Mosaic print as much as I love the Pretty Plume (and I LOVE pretty plume). Depending on how their used, I might throw down on my first flashy lulu print soon. Ideally I’d like to see either one of them on some color-blocked crops, like the top speeds have done with some prints. I kinda doubt that will happen, though.
Wow, strong words. :) I doubt we’ll see the winged mosaic on anything else since it’s a WL print, buuut I suppose we did see the textured iris flower on inspires/top speeds, so I might be wrong!

I’ve heard a few mentions of shipping gift cards. What did I miss?
They had a shipping delay last week because of the warehouse sale, so if you bought things during that time and your order was delayed, they sent us $20 gift cards for future use online or in-store. I ended up with three of them for three separate orders. Definitely a nice thing for them to do!

Agreed – I wish we had this option all the time… take $20 off your order if you’re willing to wait an extra couple of days to ship. :p
I remember last April-ish there were massive website issues and it took upload orders several days to ship, so they sent us GCs. I had that exact same though: I’d take $20 off my order any day for slow shipping! Hell, make me wait a month, it’d still be worth it, lol.
That’s interesting! I got my order and surprisingly someone else’s as well, with the order form and everything! I chatted with support and they’re supposed to be sending me info to send the order back. Wonder how often that happens, I think i should get a shipping gift card for being nice and reporting the issue ;)

Oh, lord. I really love the kimono but I’m hesitant to drop so much money on such a trendy thing….like, kimonos are this summer’s version of those loose-fitting printed pants everyone was wearing last summer. It’s so cute now but in a year or two it’ll look dated and silly. Anyone know if the Nook tank is the same fit as the All Tied Up tank? I like the look of it but I found the All Tied Up tanks to be horribly uncomfortable, like even when I sized way way up the neck was still super tight and choked me.

Yeah, I’d pass on the kimono. Maybe I’m just a kimono hater, but I haven’t seen any pics of people wearing one where I was like “woah that looks awesome”. Also, if you didn’t see already, someone asked Katelin about the nook vs all tied up, and her answer was basically that the difference was just the screen print.
What’s the big hype around the diversity bag? What makes it so special?
It’s really just a great bag. Behaves like a tote bag that can be used for say yoga class as it’s big enough to put a yoga block in plus it has a place for a water bottle. Yet it’s small enough to be able to remove the yoga block and looks like a purse for errand running after gym class or whatever. It’s just a perfect size. It fits right between my Festival or Party Om bag and my Urban Oasis tote (the smallest lulu gym bag I own).
I think the fact that it’s special edition hypes it up a little too. That print has been popular.

I like nothing, but I really want the diversity bag. We’ll see if I can get it. I’ve had luck in getting the SE WAFS last week and pistachio CRB… so finger crossed!
I’m really interested to see how fast it sells out. I can’t imagine it’ll be faster than pistachio, but I suppose you never know.

Thanks for the note! I’m wondering whether it was an intentional upload or a glitch. The website’s been weird and glitchy for a few days. Plenty of people seemed to be able to order, though!
i’m guessing a glitch lol. the website maintenance was probably planned, but then somehow lulu uploaded them by mistake. that’s what i gathered from the ppl who spoke to GEC and posted about it on the boards. canada better be getting these tomorrow!!
