For this week’s what we love, in addition to the products previewed here, Katelin also made note of the fact that both US and Canada will be seeing quite a few new CRBs on upload. We’re still waiting on heathered naval blue, gingham, and ace spot grain (all are in this post), so I’m guessing some (if not all) of those will be on the docket. We’ll have to wait and see if any surprises pop up, though!
We’re seeing the pedal to the medal capsule, which showed up overseas this week if you want to see more pics. None of the 3 pieces really interest me.
A couple run pieces in two of the biggest July colors. These tie dye swiftlies have popped up overseas but I haven’t really pointed them out. The tranquil blue is cute. There’s also a tie dye alarming SS version here that maybe we’ll see soon, too? Also, more split second shorts coming in alarming. To jog your memory, these are a higher rise but with a short inseam.
This new superb bra, made of cotton, is a really pretty design. The straps aren’t too overdone, the contrast color is done nicely, and the somewhat longline silhouette balances the low cut look really well. This wouldn’t be practical for me, but it’s lovely. Also, more cotton coming in the form of the vitasea inner essence SS, just a simple scoop. Both of these seem to be coming a bit late on the heels of the other superb (LS, SS) and inner essence items (skirt, crops, bra).
Another transitional piece: the devout tee. This appears to be the tee from the photos of the pretty plume WUP last week that a couple people were asking about. I wonder if the pretty plume WUP will surprise us this week?
Oh yes, the much-anticipated special edition silver spoon wee are from space WUC are coming! Sorry Canadians, this will just be in the US this week, but I hope our friends up north won’t have to wait too long. From the international uploads this week, a plain rolldown WUC version exists of silver spoon WAFS, so I’m curious whether that will be landing in one or both regions this week as well.
Lastly, a new dottie dash grain define jacket coming. I’m kind of over dottie dash, and I don’t usually like patterned defines anyway, so this one falls pretty flat for me. Since fall is approaching soon, I’m guessing we’ll see more new define colors start picking up in the next few weeks.

Special edition WUCs definitely. I also will likely check out the Pedal to the Medal SS because I’m obsessed with the cap sleeve, but now that I see it again I’m wondering if maybe it’s looking a little on the short side? Hard to tell. The inner essence SS looks nice also (I’m a sucker for a curved hem). I don’t have many SS and am always looking for an alternative to the swiftlys so I may have to check them out :)

It definitely looks shorter than the swiftlies or CRB to me.

that blond model with the cap sleeve tee is also the tallest lulu model. I think she is pretty tall based on how things fit her and how things fit my 64in body

The fit on that devout tee looks a little off. If any of you ladies like that style, I suggest you try out Aritzia’s “Anvers t-shirt”. It’s a very similar look and it fits well (I have a couple). Plus there’s a bunch of colors!
Nothing on this week’s list I want. I do hope the pretty plume stuff gets uploaded – that’s really the only thing I’m wanting to try.
On another note, I got the picnic play dress in the mail and my god is it long. I’m 5’0″ and it was mid-calf on me. The luon is nice and thick though and holds you in.

I agree- the Devout tee looks a bit boxy, thanks for the Aritzia tip! Can you comment regarding the fit? Do you think it would work on longer torsos?
Anon says
Hard for me to say since I’m a shortie and have a fairly short torso. :) I bought my TTS (XS) and it fit fine, if not on the long-ish side (though after a wash, it did shrink up a bit so that’s something to keep in mind). That being said, I find the models for Aritzia to be tall and lean so I don’t think you’d have a problem with the shirt being too short on you. Hope that helps!

How did built in bra work for you? It says A to B in the description, and I am C to D , ordered my normal size 4. Tnk you!
Anon says
The built in bra was ok. I didn’t find it gave me a ton of support but enough that I could go without wearing my own bra. I’m a 32D and didn’t find I was overly stretching out the material. I’ll have to go back and check but I don’t remember there being pockets for cup inserts. I am generally a size 4 for bottoms and a 4/6 on top. I went up a size to a 6 on this dress and it was pretty fitted. I don’t think I could have fit into a 4.
Le says
I don’t usually size up in fitted items bc waist will be too loose then. I’m also 32D or 34C, now I’m afraid it’ll be too tight for me and they are all sold out ! Thank you for your feedback

Ok, I checked and you can put in cup inserts but you’ll need to adjust them quite a bit since the pocket for the insert is quite large. You may be ok in your usual 4. I sized up cuz I have a bit of a mum tum :)

Thanks for the Aritzia note! :) I figured the picnic play dress would be long. I’m 5’3″ so those things usually end up a strange length for me, neither midi nor maxi.

how do the cotton type bras stand compared to the usual like free to be ? i love the design too haha and being a bra addict i m tempted to get these but ya if the cottony stuff is going to be as fragile as the usual Vitasea made shirts, I doubt it would last very long without going out of shape and piling :(
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
I haven’t tried one myself so I can’t really chime in here. The practice cotton the bras are made of is not the same as vitasea though, it’s much thicker. It’d be the same fabric as the cotton WUs, if you’ve tried those.

Tried on the roll down 7/8th length wee are from space silver spoon late yesterday: mostly nylon content and VERY THIN and swear they were full length (am 5’5″ and have the black cherry 7/8ths, which hit just above my ankle). Although they were gorgeous, couldn’t justify $98 for the equivalent of nylon STOCKINGS that could easily snag on a finger nail. A shame. Think LLL is getting cheap with their pants again!
Downunder says
I actually thought the fabric was as good as old school Luon. Different batch?
Marshmallow says
I’m late to the game here but I had to chime in – I had the same experience as you, Downunder. I was very impressed and happily surprised with how comfy and cottony the luon felt.

Thanks for sharing! Their pants have been really hit or miss for a while, in my experience. Frustrating.
