Just dropping in with some quick notes about some sales going down this weekend. Believe it or not, we’re quickly approaching a new season already, so brands are starting to clear out summer stock to make room for fall. Here’s what’s happening in sale-land:
Athleta just started their semi-annual sale featuring seriously hundreds of styles, including swim, all at up to 60% off. If you’re near a store, the same markdowns are happening there, too. The floral flow chaturanga tights are almost a dead ringer for lulu’s current shady palms print, but Athleta’s are only $45. If you’re already in the mood for fall, you can score a cashmere cardi for pretty cheap, too.
Carbon38 is in the midst of their summer clearance. Styles are up to 60% off. Nimble Activewear is a new brand with some pretty prints that’s available at some great prices on the sale. Take note that returns are for store credit only.
Splits59 just added new styles to their semi-annual sale. This includes a couple sizes in the devon tank in everest (my review and some color notes here) and several colors of their classic ashby tank (review here). Take note that shipping is $10 unless you reach $150, so while some of these are really good deals, don’t forget about shipping charges. Everything is final sale.
Argh. There are a bunch of things I’d love from Splits 59–Sabrina Reef Tank, Devon 3/4Top, Gianna Run Pullover, which was on my wish list when it first came out–and prices are great. Dammit.
Ack! My bad. :) My willpower has been seriously tested of late, too, though luckily the Splits sale isn’t one of the main troublemakers currently.
Do you know how the Splits Devon sizing compares to Lulu’s 105fs? I wear a 4 in the Lulu, and it’s still nice and drapey, so now I’m waffling between S and M on the Devon.
Not sure, I don’t wear 105F’s. I would lean toward the S. Maybe Splits would send you a pit-to-pit measurement if you asked? That way you could compare to your 105F’s.
