For this week’s lulu latest, the new cool to street capsule is definitely getting most of the attention. Everything palm/leaf-printed is floating around right now, too: stripe play, banana leaf, jazzy… Leaves everywhere. A few other technical and yoga pieces have popped up this week, too.
Also of note this week, lululemon overhauled their approach to Facebook store page organization. If you like any local stores on fb, you might’ve noticed this already. Stores in the same city have been merged into one page. So, for example, the 4 lululemon stores in the Phoenix metro area, instead of being Fashion Square, Biltmore, Quarter, and Chandler, are now all rolled into the “lululemon Phoenix” page.
I really like this change for two reasons. First of all, now it’s more obvious where the photos are coming from. Instead of Facebook pages being named something kind of random like “lululemon Trolley Square” or “lululemon North Hills”, they’re “lululemon Salt Lake City” and “lululemon Raleigh”. Naming by the actual city/area rather than the shopping center is much easier, especially for someone who follows non-local pages. It seems much more organized and logical. The second reason I like this change is that it streamlines the store posts quite a lot. I’m sure this will be convenient for shoppers who are local to numerous stores, but it’s also convenient for someone like me who’s scrolling through lots of posts.

If those cool to street crops were in a different green print (like maybe the palm party gator green print), I think I’d bite because there’s something about that combo that appeals to me. But I just don’t like leaves! In nature yes, but not on my apparel :) And that wrap it up tank is not my personal style (I guess just because I don’t like to accentuate the girls when I work out), but the bali breeze one is seriously tempting me.
Yup, pretty much anything bali breeze is catching my eye these days too! :)
