Upload tonight was pretty low-key for a me. A couple cute items, but either not in my region or just not things I cared about. Minimal will power required for me. Most of the things uploaded have already been spotted overseas, though there’s a handful of things that are truly new.
Canada got the new grapefruit speed shorts. One problem: what’s in this pic isn’t speed shorts. These are very clearly run times shorts. These uploaded internationally a couple weeks ago and I don’t get why they *still* haven’t fixed the photos to speeds! For one thing, I feel like people are gonna be peeved when they order these and get something different from what’s pictured. For another thing, I just want to see the actual speeds! There’s only one pic of the speeds that has surfaced so far, and it looks like they do not have contrast trim like the run times here.

Several new cool racerbacks tonight, including gator green and bleacher stripe. Gator green has been seen in Canada stores.
Fugly fail of the day: roll up crop top. They “made too much” already. Yikes.
New pace rival crops in floral backdrop blue denim and iris flower. Canada only. Pace rivals have yet to show up at all in the US.
New itty bitty halter in the US that kind of looks like it went part of the way through a paper shredder.
Canada got the new split second shorts in a couple of colors.
The US got this new perforated out and about tote. Apparently, it has a removable clutch.
Canada did get the floral backdrop all you need duffel and the run all day backpack.

Ha ha! I actually like the paper shredder tank, but not enough to pay full price. Nothing tempting for me either. Waiting on pistachio & grapefruit CRBs.

Arggh Where are the pace rival crops?! LOL I’m salivating over the iris flower and the palm party gator green ones…I’ll be so disappointed if they don’t turn up in the US.
Yeah they ought to be here soon since they’ve been in Canada a little while. You’d think, anyway.

I’m beyond aggravated that every country has had the Run Stuff except for the U.S. It’s really ticking me off. “more fun colors for summer” per Kaitlyn apparently I heard from somewhere. Newsflash – IT’S SUMMER. Not good for the bottom line to make customers wait and get frustrated when they can’t get what is out everywhere else.
Yeah, I agree, the timeline of things has just been really aggravating lately. It’s possible there are supply chain issues that are beyond lulu’s control, but I don’t know, it might just be that they’re a bit oblivious (or simply don’t care) that it’s putting fans off.
I bought the jet crop slim’s. I was really disappointed with how baggy the reg jet crops were so I am hoping these work out.
I also just got the layer up dress in the mail and…….I LOVE IT!!! it is very ‘fashion forward’ but that fits my style. Really reminds me of something I would get from an independent designer not a huge company like lulu. But I can totally see how it wouldn’t be someone’s cup of tea. I think the model on the website should size down because the front flap is really not that large.
Yeah, I figured there had to be a certain type of person who could pull off the layer up dress, but it’s deeeefinitely not me, and probably not even most people, lol.
I snagged Gator CRB & blue denim Power Y. Also got my 1 more Maxi Dress in the mail( I already have Heathered slate and large stripe black & white) now have to decide which one I’m keeping!
Both tanks will be good basics, nice choices. :)
FYI I just saw the grapefruit speeds in one of Montreal’s stores. They are exactly as the pic from Australia (without the contrast trim). This confirms that the grapefruit speeds dropped in Canada, they just put the wrong picture online. I wanted to take a picture for you but I run out of battery… sorry. I also checked and they come in size 2.
I didn’t care about them. IMO on certain fabrics grapefruit looks like faded pink-coral (like on the ebb to street tank). Maybe it will work on luon ? (waiting to see the CRB before stating “je n’aime pas du tout la couleur”).
Thanks for the report! I figured that’s exactly what happened. It’s just weird that after a couple of weeks, they *still* haven’t bothered to change the pic. Also, I’ve noticed the same thing about grapefruit. It’s very vibrant on some items but less so on others. The CRB looks like it might be on the more pale side. : I’m still planning to order the CRB and speeds to find out, though!
