New in Aus: Run for Days Line

April 20, 2015 / 10 Comments

On top of the preview we got in this past week’s what we love, the run for days capsule is now in Australia, including a couple new items not seen in what we love.  In Aus, the collection is only available in sizes 4-10, with a couple items made available in a 12 as well.

All the run for days items have this camo pattern on the whole piece or on details.  The color isn’t listed as camo, however, just as plain “regal plum” (or whichever color).  This is the run for days tank.

The run for days bra has a boob-pocket, like the stuff your bra.  It’s listed as medium support and coverage.

The silverescent material is quite lightweight, and in fact you can see the bra through this run for days short sleeve.

Run for days crops.  This color is in fact deep camo, which is what I had guessed.  Where are the side pockets??  Also, as a commenter pointed out, this combo of black, regal plum, and deep camo looks more suited to fall than spring, but it *is* fall in Aus, so at least it suits their seasons, if not ours.

Lastly, run for days shorts.  These have a much more severe contoured side slit than any of lulu’s other shorts currently.  Also, I can’t help but feel like this material on shorts make them look like PJs.  The inseam is listed as 1 3/4″, which is 3/4″ shorter than speeds, although they look about the same length in these pics.

I bought some jet crops, usually a solid 4 in Lulu bottoms, exchanged them for a 2, but the length on me at 5’4″ was super weird and the crotch was way poofy. I wanted to love them. :(
So anyway, I exchanged them for the new heat wave rolldown wunder unders, and they are gorgeous, but very very sheer.

At this point I’m just like, can I even show my face in my local Lulu for ANOTHER exchange this week? Haha I’ll probably keep them but just wanted to give everyone a heads up about the heat wave WU’s.

That’s too bad about the jet crops. I heard the slim version was much nicer, but sadly only went to Canada. Not surprised about the heat wave WU, they’re probably polyester and so much white in the pattern is not a good omen. I might order the CRB in that print, and also the energy bra that someone spotted in Canada.

The run for days shorts don’t have a liner. That is quite a tiny inseam length to not have a liner…

Shorts remind me of the run split shorts from a few years ago

True. The side slit on these looks even higher!

Ugh. I wanted that new run tank until I saw it’s camo. And yes–where are the side pockets in the crops?!
