Lots of deals and sales have been popping up lately, here’s a few currently running that are notable:
Lorna Jane is offering 20% off sitewide when you buy at least 2 items. I tried on the solstice bra and matching shorts the other day (post coming soon!) and thought they were super cute (and TTS, btw).
If you buy a top and bottom, YogaSmoga will send you 2 extra tops. Of course, you don’t get to pick the tops, so this is a bit of a grab bag, but a nice deal if you like what you get.
Alala is clearing out their fall/winter collection with markdowns around 40% off. I especially love my cobalt captain crops (review) and victory bootcut pants (review). I also am really happy with my recent the cut bra purchase (instagrammed), which is on sale in eclipse and map print (take note, map print is slightly purple-hued, not black/white). A full review will be posted soon, but the bra definitely runs a full size small, and I would recommend it for light-medium support for A-C cups, or even small D’s.
Nike’s legendary lava tights are marked down to $110 on the Nike website. Some have said they’ve found these for $100 at their local Nordstrom, though they’re currently full price on the Nords site. Granted, this still isn’t a particularly cheap price, but may be the tipping point for some. Here’s my try-on review for these.
Beyond Yoga’s sale section is pretty robust right now. Size availability is hit or miss, but there’s a substantial range of styles available. Of course, Lululemon also updated their WMTM section this morning. Many items in moody mirage, mystic jungle, and fatigue chevron have hit MD. I’m also amused that the yogini trouser pants are already MD’d significantly, though that was pretty much inevitable. Of note: fatigue chevron and mystic jungle fatigue speeds! These pairs have been popular, so you may need to act quickly to get your size.
I recently bought a lot of Alala and am also very happy with almost all of it, especially the style of the sophisticate jacket. These are the only things that I’d warn about: The take sides knee tights are sheer in a squat unfortunately, so I can only use those running when I don’t have to bend. (The captain crops are totally opaque as are the track pants and the victory bootcut pants.) The back zip bra is nice but not supportive enough for running.
Thanks for the notes! Jealous of your track pants. I want them, but will probably have to settle for the rolldown sweats since the ankle zipper makes the fast tracks more or less un-hemmable. : Which color of the take sides do you have? I have the map print and the print is busy enough that they’re fine in a squat. Although, I’ve decided I like the captain crop length better anyway for future purchases since none of my knee-length crops seem to get as much love as their calf-length cousins.
I have the knee tights in plain black. I love how they fit minus the sheerness issue. I have similar problems with plain black lulu luxtreme pants. :/ definitely think captain crops are the way to go. Love those. As an aside, I have the map print clutch tank and find it to be black/white/gray (not really purple-hued). Might depend on batch? Also, I found the roll down sweats to have a very similar look to the track pants.
Hmm that’s odd. Maybe it was the type of fabric and how the dye took. Beats me.
I have to give you complete credit for introducing me to those Lava tights when you posted that review…I have been stalking them ever since (so perhaps I should blame you? :) ) . I actually got them from Nordstrom online 2 weeks ago on sale, they had been marked down to $97 online (I do see now its back up to $130..they have been doing some price matching on other items so maybe that was the case), and I think I snatched up one of the last XS pairs on the website. They came in last week and I am in love! I usually dont stray much from Lulu but this pair of tights are definitely on par quality wise.
Yeah I was told they got marked down on the Nords site, but I was away that day and by the time I got to check, they were back up. It was frustrating because I had a price drop alert set up, but it didn’t seem to work. Oh well. I’m hoping I can snag them somewhere for $75 or less, but that will likely require a lot of patience! Anyway, always happy to enable. ;)
