Australia got a pretty sizable drop this morning. On top of getting the reflective capsule that was in North America a couple months ago and the new pedal pace cycling line (as seen overseas last week), they also got quite a bit of stuff in new colors. Based on this drop and hints we’ve seen elsewhere, it’s looking like the new color story for April will be made up of mostly brushed animal, fresco blue, regal plum, and electric coral. This palette has potential to be fun, so I’m hopeful it will come together nicely in the coming weeks.
The pace setter 1/2 zip is back in a new palette: regal plum (shown), silver spoon, and black. Fair warning: because this is rulu, there is a high chance that North America will NOT see this, since rulu is pretty much done here. This was the case last spring for lots of good Aussie stuff.
Lots of new swiftlies! Electric coral showed up on an SS in the same star crushed/dreamcatcher texture that’s been on a couple other colors in North America. Regal plum and new fresco blue came in both SS and racerback versions (plus the LS in fresco blue, not shown here). The regal plum racerback is tonka stripe.
What the sport singlets have been coming in tons of colors lately, so I wonder if they’re turning into a more permanent fixture. The latest colors are, again, fresco blue, regal plum and electric coral.
Cute new stuff your bras in electric coral and brushed animal/fresco blue. The latter combo looks great together.
More brushed animal run bottoms: run times shorts and inspire crops. This is a strong indicator that speed shorts in brushed animal are likely to follow.
Lastly, brushed animal high times pants with the “tux” stripe accent down the side.

FINALLY….something with a little pep. Lets hope we get it over here!

Yes, I’m liking the look of it too! The Aussie team has been doing an amazing job for a while now as far as cohesion and selection, better than their North American colleagues…

They really need to brush that model’s hair :P Hopefully they’ll be releasing the Run Stuff Your Bra’s in N.A. again soon. My fave run bras. Did not like the clingyness of the What The Sport singlet at all. Hated it actually. I couldn’t get it off fast enough – plus it’s crazy long in the back so worn with speeds it makes me look like I have nothing on on the bottom – which I don’t like. I miss the scalloped look of the 105F singlets so much! Lulu really made a mistake by changing something so beloved – I hope they bring it back. Also AA do you know what’s happening with pacesetters? I’ve heard 2 things – that they are being redesigned and the other is that the Pace Rival is the replacement (not good one IMO). Do you know what is going on?

I usually don’t make negative comments about model’s appearances, but I agree. The messy hair and facial is going with their “serious” look, but it just doesn’t work with bright clothes. Not every photo needs messy/slick hair and a frown…..it is spring after all.

Sadly it’s not even the “messy on purpose, totally modern and cool vibe” look to it. It just looks like it needs a brush run through it :P I usually don’t comment on the models either but that’s right up there with the one awhile back modeling a bag and her nails were all chewed up. Gross. File them at least.

Yeah, a little personal grooming is always nice for photo QC, lol. As for the skirts, I was told the pace rival is a replacement (word from the inside), but if someone official said the pace setter is being redesigned, perhaps that means the pace rival replacement is only temporary until the pace setter ii comes around? I can’t say definitively, what I wrote here is basically all I know. :)

loving that tuxedo stripe!

AUS got Pace Setter 1/2 zips in Earl Grey earlier in the fall and I almost had an aneurism from jealousy. It’s too late in the season for Rulu like you said, but still painful!

Whoever plans the products for Aus needs to teach a few things to their North American counterpart. :)

I love all of those designs – so fresh and makes me want to go run 5 miles! xo

Inspire crops are a major weakness for me, I don’t think I can resist those!
I would love to see a color comparison between regal plum and ultraviolet, they look very similar.
Lastly, hoping stuff your bra tanks are back as well. I have one and I love it.

Yes, I want to see a UV/regal plum comparison also! Although I will probably pass on regal plum regardless, because I find magentas difficult to work with in my wardrobe for some reason…
