New away dress with laser-cut details.  It has a tight-fitting top with cut-out and laser-cut details paired with a circle skirt.  In the top pic you can see laser-cuts at the skirt hem as well.  It’ll be interesting to see what this looks like on.  The exact fabric isn’t specified.  It’s $198–ouch.

Here is the tag pic for a little more info:

From the pics, the dress seems super cute- I can see it with some ballerinas or other flat sandals.
I hope it comes in another color besides black, and can’t wait to see what it looks like on an actual person.
And for that price tag, the zipper as well as everything else on it needs to be on point- just sayin…..

Why would I wear that on a plane?

Yeah, I can’t see myself spending that either. For the price, there are plenty of other cute dresses out there, so I dunno. It will probably still be popular because of the lulu label though.

I like this dress! Good to know what I could wear when a rickshaw(?!) shows up.

IMO, the price is OK if it’s compared with other dresses on ShopBop etc, it’s more like a going out dress and it’s a bonus that it’s made of super comfy performance fabric.

Haha, yes, such a strange description. I’m wondering if this is a sign of another &go capsule to come. I agree the price is comparable to other casual styles, except that often you can find coupon codes for those. ;) The performance fabric is definitely a bonus, though, since that’s often more comfortable, especially in the summer.

Except you can still find comfy dresses that are just as cute (sometimes cuter) for so much less. The Here To There copy from Old Navy is a Nylon/lycra blend – so activewear material (i.e. -super comfy) and has taken me from Sunday brunch to a formal wedding to a forest wedding to a funeral. I swear people probably think I only own one dress. Lol! But its super comfy and dresses up or down so easy it’s an easy grab from the closet.

        $200 dresses? No thanks.

Good point. :) I know a lot of people really liked the Old Navy dupe, I didn’t realize it was also made of comparable material. Nicely done. :)

Too much bare skin for me at this stage in my life. Apart from that, for $200 I’ll buy a dress at Banana Republic. Good chance I’ll get a 30-40% off sale. I think this would have been better as two separate pieces so they could be used to mix and match.

Yes, for the money, I agree, it’s not too hard to find a cute dress. :)
