Since Katelin has taken over Britt’s picks, I’m loving that she’s posting earlier on Thursday nights–this week’s is already up. Plus, she’s super-responsive to questions in the comments thread and gives real answers, which is really awesome. Overall, 5 stars.
She mentions in the text that there may be a black cherry define jacket coming. She emphasized that she’s not making promises but it’s a possibility.
She also mentioned that the moody mirage bark berry energy bra (from the product banner I spotted the other day) is dropping in the US this upcoming week, but won’t be in Canada til later.
On to the pics:
The pace rival skirt is coming back–looks like it’s updated since it’s now called the pace rival ii. In the previous version, it was pleated in both the front and back, but to my eye it appears this new version is only pleated in the back. It’s coming in the nightsky harbor blue print.
A power y tank is coming next week in moody mirage bark berry. This is a little bit of a better look at this new pattern than the little bra previews on the energy bra and FTBW.
The modern racerback, i.e. the vitasea version of the CRB (ish), is coming in deep camo.
These new cyber stripe inspires are sure to be popular, as I said last week when these popped up overseas. Lots of people are hoping it will come in wunder unders–perhaps Katelin will have insight on this in the comments section.
These new in flux crops are made of swift, like studio pants. These could actually be cute on a lot of people since the fit looks like it’s the right amount of bagginess without looking sloppy. I’ll be interested to see more of these, especially how they turn out on shorties.
The we like to cardi looks like a slightly smarter version of its pun cousin, the cardi all day–more of a slim fit, and shorter in the back although still butt-covering. Another one I’ll be interested to see more pics of. This one’s actually made of cotton instead of merino.
Also: blushed illusion tracker shorts for those who like this print but don’t like run times.
The refine crops are another cotton crop (like the motivate crops were), but with a more simple design. The waistband looks a bit groove pants-y. This looks like deep camo, maybe, or one of the other varieties of the green-ish earth tones that are out right now.
Lastly: new seva sweater in black cherry. This looks like it has the potential to be what the yin to you sweater was not. It has a drop hem and slits, but it looks like it might be considerably less awkward and loinclothy vs the yin to you. This one is merino too and has some of the open stitching details that have popped up on a few sweaters lately.
Overall, no must-haves for me this week, but a few items that have potential to be winners in a general sense.

The inspire stripes don’t match up on the back side……wonder if that is a one off or if they will all be like that? Maybe due to the paneling?
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
I don’t like that they don’t match up either, which is another reason these would be better in WUP or something. I think they will most likely all be like that due to the paneling (unless you get reeeeally lucky with placement), much like how the stripes don’t match up on all the pics I’ve seen of the new brush strokes pace pusher crops.

I was thinking the same thing. The stripes not matching really bothers me, and to me cheapens them. I also don’t like the black stripe. It might be mesh paneling. Either way I think the black panel is distracting & serves to make the stripes not matching more apparent.

I had to chuckle because she mentions lots of bright colors shining through, and then nearly everything featured is black or dark colors. Full disclosure, I’m not a fan of the blushed illusion print so I don’t really count that as being bright and shiny. ;) I’m intrigued by the In Flux crops, though. I think you are right about the Pace Rival design change, I bought it in black last year (the only active skirt I own) but I think I might like this version better with the pleat just in the back. Ah, well!
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Haha yes, it’s true there wasn’t a lot of brightness in this feature this week. Perhaps as a general comment we’ll see more on upload/in stores though, besides what’s in this post. I don’t think blushed illusion can be counted as “bright” per se but it is at least colorful I guess.

Yay for the Pace Rival skirt coming back! Not a fan of this color, but I hope it comes out in other colors. The print on that Power Y is so pretty. I’ll be going to my local store today to check on markdowns and see if they have anything new (though they’re always late to get new things in). I am leaning towards getting the new Pace Pusher LS.
The one thing that I absolutely do not need more of is purple pants. And yet, I ordered the Black Grape Skinny Wills on WMTM this morning. I’ve tried on SWs and liked them but never wanted to pay the full price, and when I saw them on WMTM yesterday I told myself I could get them if they weren’t sold out in my size this morning. My size was the only one still available, so it seemed like a sign from the Lulu gods. How could I resist?
Jenn @ Running on Lentils says
My store had all the WMTM stuff on markdown (same price) plus all the rulu tops–all in my size! I got the Coco Pique Think Fast PO (sooo incredibly soft), the White Herringbone Think Fast LS (hard to choose between white and black herringone, but I can wear white with more; the black was more soft), and the new Pace Pusher LS in black. I liked the white best in the photos, but it was too see-through. My CRB size (6) was skin tight, so I got an 8. Really, really love this top. It’s super soft and very flattering. Also tried on the Snug Sprinter Jacket and was surprised how much I liked it. It’s very comfortable and very flattering on. I have an old Lulu jacket with front wind-resistance fabric, and it is really stiff and awkward to run in. The Snug Sprinter fabric gives a little more. I actually really liked the grey/dream rose in person. It was hard to leave it behind…need to talk myself out of going back for it. I also tried on the Cabin Yogi Wrap & agree with your review–it was a really awkward fit. The Essence Tank was a disaster. It looked like my boobs were falling out, and I had on a supportive bra for work. I tried on the new Between the Lines LS too. It’s really short so would be good for petite women or those with a short torso, but not for me.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Woohoo! Lucky rulu day! :) Thanks for the notes about some of the other current stuff. I don’t like the look of the between the lines LS–something about it just seems strange to me, but I could totally see why you say it would look better on someone with a shorter torso.
Jane_Doe says
Hi! Would you say the sprinter jacket is TTS? I”m tempted to get it, but I do have a relatively shorter torso, so wondering if it’ll still work. TIA :)
Jenn @ Running on Lentils says
Yes, it’s TTS. I wear 6 in CRB but almost always 8 in run tops & jackets so I can layer underneath, and the 8 in this jacket fits like 8 in rulu tops–slim but not skin tight and with enough room to layer underneath. I know it looks wacky in pics, but it’s actually really nice on!
Jane_Doe says
Thanks for the fitting info :) I wanted to get a basic hiking jacket like the Marmot’s Precip, or the Oiselle’s New Flyer Jacket, but I’m super tempted by this pretty jacket now. Argh.
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
Definitely sounds like a sign to me. ;)

As a pacesetter wearer I skipped the Pace Rival last year because the ruffles in the front felt to parochial or high school-ish. I like the change. I LOVE the black/blue print. I might get this and take back the harbor blue speeds instead.
I wish the panel on the In Flux crop wasn’t so wide – that might be a deal killer for me. I have a pair of DSC’s I need to damage out but am waiting to see if they bring them back. I tried the Street To Studio’s this week but the rise is long and awkward and the bottom is super tight on my runners calves yet the crotch was weird and baggy because the rise is so wonky.
The cyber striped Inspires are promising. I just started buying and running in Inspires and now I’m wondering why I haven’t been wearing these for the past 5 years of my running career. They are amazing (would be even more so with thigh pockets). If the stripes don’t line up though it will drive me crazy as well.
They are starting to come out with stuff i’m liking finally. I will have to be very picky on fit and color and blendability with my other stuff so I don’t go broke!

Sorry, TOO parochial. Not “to” :P
Suzanne | Agent Athletica says
I don’t like the wide waistband on the in flux crops either. I’m thinking it may be one of those soft waistbands that’s designed to roll down.
