5 New Active Leggings I’m Swooning Over

June 24, 2015 / 16 Comments

Currently loving: these 5 new workout leggings

This summer is proving to be a dangerous time for my wallet.  Not only have my lulu purchases picked up some steam after a long dry spell, but other brands have really been stepping up their game, too.  These leggings are 5 of my favorites right now.

1. Glyder pink champagne space dye mantra crops | Ummm pink space dye?  Yes please.  Glyder’s hot pink acai space dye mantra crops were really popular a couple years ago, and now they’ve followed up with this bubble gum shade as part of their new flower child capsule.  Glyder is currently offering free shipping on orders over $100, and you can use my code, AgentAthletica15, to nab another 15% off.  For those prices, I had to succumb to temptation.  I scooped up the new mantras and couldn’t resist the adorable new hot in here shorts in pink, too.

2. Koral Activewear endurance capris | OMG.  Snake print + gorgeous vibrant colors = magic.  These are so unique, and one of the highest on my “want” list right now.  I’m really happy with my other pair of capris from Koral, which leads me to believe that these would nail it for me too.  From also checking out Carbon38, Koral, ShopBop, and Saks, pattern placement seems to vary, so if I do end up snagging a pair of these, I hope I’ll luck out.

3. Vie Active satellite orchid rockell tights | I love this fractal-inspired print.  My friend called them space pants, and as a lover of just about anything space-themed, ummm yes give me all the space pants.  I love the rich colors of the magenta color scheme above, but I wouldn’t say no to the blue version, either.

4. We Are Handsome chameleon legging | These printed pants are totally Lisa Frank fabulous.  The mash-up of floral print and tiger details is feminine and fierce, pretty literally.  The color scheme is vibrant while still being cohesive.  These are probably some of the craziest pants I’ve lusted after in a while, but…I guess my inner 90s child can’t help herself.

5. Varley lena compression 7/8 legging | I’ve seen a lot of countertop-inspired prints, but these granite print leggings are done better than pretty much all of them.  The mesh detail is subtle but functional, and the abstract, minimalist print actually also kind of reminds me of space, and we’ve already established how much I love space pants.

Those pink space dye are pretty!I just recently placed my first fabletics order and got the pop pink stripe space dye salar leggings. They are amazingly beautiful, well made, and compressive. I was curious to check out fabletics quality with such reasonable pricing and I am all too excited to now do my July order.

I was just about to comment that I also bought the pop pink space dye salars from Fabletics and to my surprise, I’m obsessed!

Nice! From what I’ve heard, Fabletics leggings can kind of go either way depending on the colorway, so I’m glad to hear you got good ones! :)

Those pink leggings are cute! I have to start branching out of lulu and checking other brands!
On a different note, I’m a pilates instructor in training and have been looking at other brands that give fitness professionals discounts. I know of a few, lulu, athleta, lucy and reese, do you know of any other companies that do?

Glyder offers 20% off, too! Since I’m not an instructor myself, I’m not really in tune with that, I admit. Not sure of any others off the top of my head.

Zobha, Sweaty Betty and Lole all have an instructor discount and so does Titika Activewear but only if you can get to their locations :(

I think the Koral capris and the Varley lena leggings are my favorites! I don’t have many white-based leggings so those Varley ones are particularly intriguing to me. Thanks for the heads up!

I’m such a sucker for fun, obnoxious colors lately, lol. The free shipping promo ends today, btw, if that’s something you were wanting to take advantage of.

I absolutely love Glyder. I have 5 pairs of their crops. Great quality and there’s always some kind of sale or coupon you can use so it’s inexpensive! Can’t recommend them enough.

Yes, the value of Glyder seems pretty hard to beat! I also threw in a matching tank with my order so I’m interested to see how that measures up, too.

Saw the Varley ones at Bandier store yesterday and they felt very thin and very plasticky… didn’t seem very breathable. But I didn’t try them on so maybe they feel different?

Online it’s listed as a polyamide microfibre blend, so I’m not surprised it felt different. Hopefully they would be nice on, I’ve been liking a few things from that brand lately.

FYI there’s a bunch of activewear on Gilt right now including yogasmoga and splits59! I got some nova leggings for pretty cheap.

Ahh thanks! I got some novas last week on Hautelook (just about to publish the post) so thankfully there’s nothing I need today…whew. :)
